Resorts World Sentosa launches the inaugural RWS Cares Festival, a two-day community festival championing social inclusion and environmental sustainability. Headlined by the ‘Steps of Hope’ Walkathon and complemented by the Green Living Fair, the festival aims to engage around 4,000 participants and raise S$2 million in monetary and in-kind contributions, including a S$700,000 fundraising target for the President’s Challenge.
Proceeds will support three beneficiary organisations – the Autism Resource Centre, TomoWork, and MILK Fund – empowering persons with disabilities, youths-at-risk, and individuals in their education and employment journeys.

SingNation! National returns for its seventh edition on 8 August 2026, the eve of Singapore’s 61st birthday, at the Capitol Singapore Outdoor Plaza. Organised by Voices of Singapore and Perennial Holdings, this free community singing event brings Singaporeans together through music and national spirit.
This year’s highlight is a special one-day choir featuring VOS members and their loved ones, anchoring an open-air mass sing-along of beloved National Day favourites. Led by VOS Artistic Director Darius Lim and accompanied by a live band, the event welcomes all – no registration required. Simply turn up and sing along!

39. Gardens by the Bay and Mediacorp National Day Concert 2026 – Seeds of Tomorrow

The 2026 National Day Concert, “Seeds of Tomorrow,” takes place at The Meadow, Gardens by the Bay, with pre-show activities from 4.30pm and the concert at 7.45pm. Themed around a growing seed symbolizing Singapore’s journey, it features performances by Olivia Ong, Hady Mirza, Benjamin Kheng, Rahimah Rahim, 53A and others, plus a synchronized light display and fireworks.
President Tharman Shanmugaratnam will lead the National Pledge and Anthem. Pre-concert festivities include carnival games, crafts, food, and previews of new Mediacorp kids’ shows.
