Back to school, Singapore!

Yeo’s turns One Holland Village into a nostalgic school campus this National Day Weekend

School of Yeo's

School of Yeo’s turns familiar memories of growing up in Singapore into a playful pop-up celebrating generation of local flavours.

Remember racing to assembly before 7.30am, counting down to recess, and cooling off with a Yeo’s drink from the canteen? This National Day, Yeo’s is taking Singaporeans back to school with the School of Yeo’s, a nostalgic experience celebrating the familiar flavours and memories of growing up in Singapore.

From 7 August to 10 August 2026, the Atrium at One Holland Village will be transformed into a playful campus that brings the rituals of school life back in unexpected ways. Visitors can “enrol” as students and make their way through the School of Yeo’s curriculum: from morning assembly and classroom challenges to that all-important trip to the canteen to collect Yeo’s treats.

Behind the fun is a celebration of Nourishing Generations. With roots stretching back more than a century, Yeo’s has grown alongside Singapore, becoming part of everyday moments shared by families. This National Day, the homegrown heritage brand is inviting adults to revisit the simple joys of their school days, while a new generation gets to make memories of their own.

Visitors begin at the Guard House, where they pick up their School of Yeo’s Report Card before taking on three challenges across the campus. Each one earns them points towards a final score, with completed report cards unlocking rewards at the end of the school day at the Yeo’s Drink and Fruit Stall. The activation has been designed around a full school-day journey, with the challenges leading visitors through the Parade Square, Science Lab and Classroom.

At the Parade Square, it is Assembly Time! Anyone who remembers the anxiety of making it to morning assembly before 7.30am may find this one particularly familiar. Visitors put their reflexes to the test by stopping a school clock as close to 7.30am sharp as possible, with more points awarded the closer they get.

Next, head to the Science Lab, where What’s Brewing? puts Yeo’s Chrysanthemum Tea under the microscope. The experience turns one of the brand’s familiar Asian beverages into an interactive discovery of the ingredients and craft behind the drink, and participants who can land the puck on the sweet spot of the Plinko game will be rewarded with more points.

Then it is time to head to the Classroom for the Yeo’s Quiz, where visitors can put what they have picked up along the way to the test and earn the final marks on their report card.

And because no school day is complete without recess, visitors can head to the Yeo’s Drink Stall and Fruit Stall to redeem their rewards ranging from exclusive plush keyrings, JellyBuddies Chia Seed Jelly Drink and SG61 Special Edition Orchid Chrysanthemum Tea, bringing back perhaps the best school memory of all: making a run for the canteen with your friends.

Can’t get enough of the adorable plushies? Visitors can purchase plush keyrings exclusively at the School of Yeo’s. What’s more, a collection of 5 JellyBuddies plush keyring will unlock the opportunity to redeem a spaceship plush that houses all 5 JellyBuddies.

Go ahead, tell everyone you were top of the class

The nostalgia does not stop at the games. Visitors can step behind the School of Yeo’s podium for their very own graduation moment, complete with a School of Yeo’s graduation certificate and plenty of photo opportunities around the campus. Photobooth will operate from 4pm – 8pm.

From racing the clock at morning assembly to report cards, canteen stalls and oversized erasers, School of Yeo’s gives the sights and rituals of Singapore school life a playful Yeo’s twist.

Alex Chen, Head of Marketing, said: “For generations of Singaporeans, Yeo’s has been part of everyday moments at home, around the family table and in many of the occasions we grew up with. This National Day, we wanted to celebrate that connection in a way that feels familiar but also fresh and fun. The School of Yeo’s is about revisiting those shared memories that make us smile while creating new ones together. As a Singapore heritage brand, we are proud to have grown alongside generations of Singaporeans, and we hope families and friends will come down, have some fun and celebrate with us.”
