From pickleball and coding to climbing and kid-friendly perks, U-CAMP@United Square and Urban Beat@Velocity are serving up a school holiday line-up designed to get families moving, making and discovering together.

UOL Malls Urban Beat Sports Classes

UOL Malls is giving families a stronger answer to the classic June holiday question: “So, what are we doing today?”

From 29 May to 12 July 2026, U-CAMP will transform United Square into a lively community space packed with activities for families and young shoppers, while Urban Beat will bring its line-up of workshops and experiences to Velocity@Novena Square from 29 May to 5 July 2026. Together, the programmes invite kids, teens, parents, residents, office workers and shoppers to try something new, creative and genuinely enjoyable. Think less “keep the kids occupied”, more “let them discover something they might actually love”.

A Holiday Line-Up for Curious Kids

At United Square, children can get creative with Tree Art‘s Art Jamming workshop, or sharpen their thinking at Chess at Three’s beginner chess session, where they will learn to play chess to checkmate and take part in a mini tournament.

For children who like to build, tinker or solve things, Futurum Academy will introduce children to coding and robotics, while Hua Language Centre will help kids learn Chinese through craft workshops. Lorna Whiston will also offer the “Write Up! Speak Up!” workshop, giving children a chance to build confidence in writing, speaking and self-expression.

Families looking for something a little different can join Asterspring’s Parent/Child Skincare Fundamentals workshop, while young music lovers can explore instruments with Aureus Academy / Mandeville Conservatory of Music, including ukulele, piano and drum sessions.

For The Ones Who Need to Move, Climb and Play

The sports line-up brings plenty of action too. SBA Basketball Clinic will run from 8 to 11 June at United Square, helping participants work on vertical training, speed and reaction, and landing mechanics. The Gentle Art will introduce children to Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, while Smigy will offer playground access, for younger children who simply need room to play.

Over at Velocity@Novena Square, Believer Music’s classes invite participants of all ages to try drumming, acoustic guitar and electric guitar, while Fight Zone’s Muay Thai for Kids brings energy and movement into the mix. Families can also test their balance, focus and courage with Climb Central‘s entry pass, or unwind through pilates, traditional yoga or hot yoga at Yoga Edition.

UOL Malls Guitar Class

Pickleball at Velocity@Novena Square will run from 17 to 21 June at the Outdoor Court, with beginner workshops for both kids and adults, plus free public play during non-workshop timings.

Spend, Play and Redeem

Both U-CAMP and Urban Beat campaigns come with spend-and-redeem rewards exclusively for U-POPP members.

At United Square, shoppers who spend a minimum of S$120 in up to three same-day receipts can redeem a S$10 shopping e-voucher of their choice. Those who spend S$60 in up to three same-day receipts can purchase two workshop passes, at S$10 or S$20 each.

Over at Velocity@Novena Square, shoppers who spend a minimum of S$60 in up to three same-day receipts can purchase two workshops of their choice at S$10 each.

Shoppers who spend S$120 in up to three same-day combined receipts can also redeem store e-vouchers, services and even a bottle of wine from participating tenants.

KPop Demon Hunter One Year Anniversary Pop-Up at United Square

United Square will also host the Singapore-exclusive KPop Demon Hunters One Year Anniversary Pop-Up from 19 June to 12 July at the Main Atrium, B1. The pop-up will feature new merchandise, purchase-with-purchase deals, appearances by Huntrix and Saja Boys cosplayers, kids’ hair styling and face painting activities, as well as photo opportunities.

Join U-CAMP at United Square and Urban Beat at Velocity@Novena Square for a school holiday experience that goes beyond filling the calendar. With activities that let kids move, make, perform, build, play and explore, the campaigns give families an easy way to discover new interests, build confidence and turn everyday mall visits into meaningful moments together.
