Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre (SCCC) and Singapore Chinese Orchestra (SCO) join hands once again to bring a wide range of family friendly activities to the heart of the Central Business District for CNY Family FUN (CNYFF) 2025!
For the first time, Sun Yat Sen Nanyang Memorial Hall (SYSNMH) will also participate in CNYFF 2025 which will take place from 17 to 19 January 2025, and offer three out of a total of 22 programmes, performances and activities at SCCC and Singapore Conference Hall (SCH).
The highlights of SCCC’s CNYFF 2025 offerings are as listed below:
- 蛇prise CNY Art Installation: Visit SCCC’s CNY rooftop installation, “蛇prise”, which includes a giant snake lawn installation, a prosperity pavilion and more!

- LED Snake Dance: Be dazzled by an exciting giant LED snake dance at SCCC Concourse to usher in the Year of the Snake.

- Life-sized Snakes and Ladders Game: Play to your heart’s content at SCCC’s larger-than-life Snakes and Ladders installation and learn about CNY traditions while you compete against your family and friends.
- Year of the Snake Zodiac Forecast Exhibition: Curious about how your year ahead will be? Read about the forecast for your zodiac animal at SCCC’s Zodiac Predictions Exhibition at the Concourse.
- The Story of Golden Lions: Discover the history of the Golden Lions and watch a special performance by the lion dance troupe. The audience will also get a chance to put on the golden lion masks and try on props.

In addition to the above programme highlights, visitors to SCCC and SCH can look forward to the following CNYFF signature offerings:
- Spring Bazaar: Come on down to SCCC’s annual CNY Spring Bazaar, and check out various booths offering CNY snacks, decorations, traditional pastries, accessories and even bubble tea!

- Rhapsodies of Spring 2025: Usher in the Year of the Snake with festive melodies in SCO’s CNY concert led by Principal Conductor Quek Ling Kiong.
- The SINGAPO人Style Mahjong Classroom: Learn the origins, cultural significance, and different styles of mahjong in this workshop for beginners and discover why mahjong is one of Singaporean’s favourite CNY games!
From 18 December 2024, visitors can redeem a set of limited-edition SCCC CNY 2025 red packets upon completing a survey at SCCC’s 蛇prise CNY Art Installation (limited to one redemption per visitor, while stocks last).
