The school year for 2027 for all MOE primary schools (including MOE Kindergartens) and secondary schools will start on Monday, 4 January 2027 and end on Friday, 19 November 2027.

The four vacation periods for Primary Schools, Secondary Schools for 2027 will be as follows:

There are 4 scheduled school holidays. The Youth Day (5 Jul 2027) is to be designated day off-in-lieu (DOIL). Youth Day (4 Jul 2027), Day after National Day (10 Aug), Teachers’ Day (3 Sep 2027) and Children’s Day (8 Oct 2027) are the usual scheduled school holidays.
