1. Children’s Festival 2021 Featuring Art-Zoo Wonder Gardens – Postponed or Cancelled

Children's Festival by Gardens by the Bay 2021 Radiant Rhino Beetle

Join Art-Zoo characters Bruno Bear and Little Kong as they search through the Wonder Gardens to find their friends at Gardens by the Bay. Get to learn more about the garden as an ecosystem and bring a piece of the Wonder Gardens home upon completion of the trail activities.

2. Standard Chartered Singapore Marathon (SCSM) Kids Virtual Race

Standard Chartered Singapore Marathon (SCSM) Kids Race

The event will be organised from 31 May to 30 June and will allow the registered child to take part in four races – each with varying distances – and compete with other children from Singapore and the rest of the world. As it is a virtual event, participants can run safely anytime (within the race period) and anywhere, and their results will be recorded on the Virtual Club platform.

4. Gardens by the Bay’s online initiative #StayHomeWithGB

Gardens by the Bay‘s online initiative #StayHomeWithGB features a variety of educational and entertaining plant-related content, including video tutorials on DIY gardening projects and botanical crafts, art activities and e-books for kids, virtual tours of the Gardens, a plant advice column, and an eShop offering plants, terrariums and gardening supplies.

Look out for a brand-new series of free online video tutorials where Gardens by the Bay horticulturists show viewers step-by-step how to make their own botanical crafts such as macramé plant hanger and floral wall decor or put together a simple gardening project like an air plant frame or container garden.


5. NLB Online Storytelling & June Holiday Programmes

Have fun staying in when school’s out! The National Library Board (NLB) has lined up a slew of online activities and resources during the June school holidays (29 May to 27 June 2021) for the whole family. There is something for everyone, from storytelling sessions to cybersecurity workshops, and even an eco-parenting talk. Check these out especially while the Phase 2 (Heightened Alert) is ongoing till 13 June 2021.
