Changi Airport and Jewel are set to mark Singapore’s National Day this July and August 2026 with a line-up of events and live performances. Highlights include a new Peranakan heritage experience at Jewel, the return of the iconic “Home” Light & Music Showcase at the Jewel Rain Vortex, and National Day-themed horticultural displays across terminals.
Visitors can also look forward to 2XGST savings at participating retail outlets in the public areas of Changi Airport, 1-for-1 attraction deals at Jewel Canopy Park, and a stamp hunt throughout Changi to mark Singapore’s 61st birthday.

A Taste & Touch of Peranakan Heritage at Jewel Changi Airport (Jewel Level 5)

Visitors can register for a unique Peranakan heritage experience held in collaboration with Baba Nyonya Restaurant (Level 5). Participants will enjoy a Peranakan food sampling platter, try on traditional attire to capture their own photos on the Canopy Bridge, and join a bookmark-making workshop.

National Day-themed horticultural displays celebrating Singapore’s botanical heritage will be showcased across Terminals 1 to 4. Highlights include a six-metre-tall illuminated bougainvillea tree at Terminal 2 Departure Hall, featuring two plant varieties named after the airport: Dendrobium ‘Singapore Changi Airport’ and Bougainvillea ‘Changi Airport’.
Over at Terminal 3 Departure Hall, visitors can admire moving kinetic butterflies alongside a four-metre-tall Vanda Miss Joaquim floral display.
