Where in Singapore can you find a romantic spot to spend quality time with your significant other? There are many different types of places to suit your preference, whether both of you are nature lovers, sports lovers, shopping lovers or foodies!
To cater to your dating styles, here are some suggestions that will make your date a memorable one.
For Nature Couples
Exploring Singapore’s numerous gardens, parks and trails build quiet companionship where both of you enjoy each other’s company in the tranquillity of nature.
Gardens by the Bay is much more than just the Flower Dome and Cloud Forest. Spend an hour or two at its World of Plants, Heritage Gardens, The Meadows and one of my favourites, the Serene Garden, which is a unique horticultural garden inspired by the minimalist concept of Japanese zen gardens.
You can also consider purchasing a ticket to visit the Flower Dome and Cloud Forest. The beautiful Flower Dome boasts of thousand-year-old olive trees, unusual baobabs and exotic plants from five continents while the Cloud Forest showcases the world’s tallest indoor waterfall!

Alternatively, if you have more than three hours to spare, take some photos at HortPark before heading over to the Forest Walk and Henderson Waves (the highest pedestrian bridge in Singapore), before traversing down Marang Trail towards VivoCity for a hearty meal.
Couples who like a rustic trail should visit Coney Island, which offers coastal forests, grasslands, mangroves, and casuarina woodlands. This ecologically sustainable park has multiple quiet spots to listen to the rustling of the casuarina trees and the chirping of diverse bird species.
Note that as the island is only open from 7am to 7pm, both of you can continue a romantic stroll along the Punggol Promenade and make a dinner reservation at a restaurant at the nearby Punggol Settlement. You can get House of Seafood (Punggol branch) package deal on Klook.
For Sporty Couples
Tired of the same old jogging routes and gyms? Singapore has so much more to offer for sporty couples.

Jurong East has not one or two, but more than four locations you can shop at. Go outlet shopping at IMM, before heading to Westgate or JEM for an amazing spread of restaurants and even more shopping! Catch a movie at JEM or JCube, where you and your partner can ice skate too.
What about a huge shopping centre with many insta-worthy places to take couple shots at? Jewel Changi Airport can entertain both of you for a whole day!
Take the customary shot at the HSBC Rain Vortex that simply awes whether it is day or night and explore the Shiseido Forest Valley’s eastern and western trails that lead to the Canopy Park, a 14,000 sqm rooftop park with gardens, walking trails and play attractions.
