Musical Tesla Coil

To commemorate the nation’s 51st birthday, Science Centre Singapore’s very own musical tesla coil will be paying homage to Singapore with some of your favourite National Day songs!

Conceptualised and created by Singapore’s very own Gao Guangyan, a US-based electrical engineer and a long-time volunteer at Science Centre Singapore, the musical tesla coil produces sparks of up to 3m – with musical tones varying in sync with each spark!

Picnic Under the Planets

Grab your picnic baskets this 27th August for a night to remember! Witness the conjunction of Venus and Jupiter and watch as the two planets come close to each other, in the same telescopic view. This will be followed by the viewing of the planet Saturn.

Capture precious moments at our photo booth, meet and rub shoulders with our KidsSTOP and Snow City mascots, witness compelling show-and-tell performances by the winners of our Science Buskers Festival, and enjoy some bonding time with your loved ones with movies under the stars!
