As Singapore commemorates its 60th birthday, Our Tampines Hub will start off its Chinese New Year 2025 festivities with its annual ‘Spring Melodies Concert’ on 8 February and ends with the People’s Association Chingay @ Heartlands parade on 21 February 2025.
Tampines residents and Hub visitors will have an abundance of exciting family-fun entertainment when they come together to soak in the festivities at the Hub to welcome the Year of the Snake!
Mediacorp YES 933 DJ Jeff Goh will host the annual ‘Spring Melodies Concert’ on Saturday, 8 February, at 6.30pm. The concert will feature performers including celebrities Xian Hong, Leon Lim, Febe Huang, Yu Yan Shan, and Zhang Shui Rong. Our Tampines Grassroots Advisers will also join residents at the concert, along with the vibrant Lion and thrilling Dragon dances!

Chingay 2025 is set to be a spectacular celebration of our nation’s unity and shared journey, and one of the highlights of the evening is the live screening of the Chingay Parade. Residents and visitors will be able to watch the parade on the big screen at the Central Plaza, at 8pm on Saturday.

The festivities at Festive Walk East will include live stage performances, fun-filled interactive games and family-friendly activities every weekend from now till 9 February. Look out for Chinese Cultural dance performances, Lion dance performances and mascots walkabouts, Chingay-themed craft activities, as well as inflatable slides!

During the festive weekends, young families can enjoy the colourful and festive light up of our illuminated lanterns or say ‘hello’ to the roving God of Fortune too! There will be daily art and wellness workshops, fitness workouts, craft markets and stage performances that will take place in the Hub during the festive period.

Over at our OTH Wellness Garden, enjoy our Violin & Cello duet performance or take part in our Yin Yoga session or glass decorating workshop at the ‘Craft Art in Garden’ during 1, 2, 8 and 9 February.
For running enthusiasts, grab your families and friends and take part in the OTH Prosperity Run on Sunday, 9 February at 8am. Held at the Jogging Track on Level 5, collect “Gold” coins to redeem medals and goodie bags! For registration details, visit here

And you cannot miss this enchanting performance – ‘The Legend of the White Snake: Stealing the Immortal Herb’ – performed by Singapore Chinese Art Centre at the Festive Arts Theatre on Saturday, 15 February at 5pm and 7.30pm. Find out how Mdm White Snake overcome the challenges and fights for a magical Lingzhi in the name of love – showcasing the determination and resilient of the Snake in the Zodiac calendar. This programme is produced by OTH, who is a part of the National Arts Council’s Arts and Culture Nodes Network initiative for people to come together to experience the arts in their neighbourhood.
Catch multi-ethnic performers in dazzling costumes and several wow-inspiring float displays as part of the People’s Association Chingay @ Heartland 2025 on Friday, 21 February, from 7pm, along Tampines St 82 within Tampines Central Park. The Chingay @ Heartlands celebrations will be bringing the Chingay experience closer to Tampines residents and their families through immersive and experiential Chingay programming. This annual event is cherished by Singaporeans across ethnic-communities and also celebrates the dynamism of Singapore’s multi-culturalism.
