City Square Mall is thrilled to usher in the holiday season with a dazzling Christmas campaign happening from 15 November to 29 December. While the mall’s Asset Enhancement Initiative (AEI) is still ongoing, much of the City Square Mall’s refreshed interiors remain open for all to continue indulging in festive shopping and dining.

From a magical Christmas market to a thrilling Harley-Davidson bike parade, City Square Mall promises a Christmas filled with festive rewards and fun family activities for all to enjoy.

A Sustainable and Heartfelt Christmas Celebration at City Square Mall

Transforming Bottles into Holiday Magic by City Square Mall and CP-Meiji

From 15 November to 29 December, City Square Mall will be transformed into a festive wonderland, adorned with stunning holiday décor at City Green Park and B1 Fountain Square – perfect for shoppers looking for memorable photo moments.

In partnership with CP-Meiji, City Square Mall launched a collection drive for used bottles and cartons, as part of their ongoing upcycling initiatives. Over 3 months, they gathered over 1,200 bottles of which over 400 were upcycled into lamps and used in the creation of the unique eco-friendly Christmas tree, which will be unveiled on 2 December. This showcases the mall’s commitment to promoting sustainability and community involvement, setting a new standard for eco-conscious holiday celebrations. This initiative is also set to make a new record in the Singapore Book of Records for the Tallest Christmas Tree Made of Bottle Lamps!

To add to the festive excitement, shoppers can participate in holiday contests surrounding the eco-Christmas tree at Basement 1 Fountain Square. From 2 to 15 December, the “Count the number of Meiji milk bottle lamps” challenge, invites shoppers to guess the exact number of Meiji milk bottle lamps that make up the sustainable Christmas tree. To participate, shoppers can post their answers on Instagram and tag @citysquaremall and @cpmeijisingapore. Three lucky participants with the correct answer will win $50 worth of Meiji products.

In a bid to close the loop, City Square Mall will also be running an “Adopt A Lamp” contest on Facebook, inviting shoppers to tell us why they would love an upcycled Meiji bottle lamp. 100 shoppers with the most creative reasons will take home an upcycled Meiji lamp.

The collection upcycling drive for clean and empty Meiji plastic milk bottles or paper cartons (2 litres or 946ml), continues till 30 June 2024. Shoppers can drop them off at the Customer Service counter located at Basement 2.

Gather Around Santa for Heartwarming Christmas Stories

Gather around for a magical storytelling experience, as Santa Claus brings to life heartwarming tales that are sure to captivate both young and old alike. Santa will be telling enchanting stories from popular children’s storybooks, spreading joy and sparking imaginations right under the Christmas tree at B1 Fountain Square.

In the spirit of giving, City Square Mall has kicked-off a collection drive for pre-loved books, in particular children’s storybooks. In under a month, they have collected a total of 650 Children books! Shoppers can drop off their pre-loved books in fairly good condition at the Customer Service counter located at Basement 2. These donated books will be given a new lease of life for even more families to enjoy at the reading corner at Jalan Besar Community Centre.

Rev Up the Holidays with Santa’s Harley-Davidson Crew

As part of a community outreach initiative in collaboration with Wearnes Harley-Davidson of Singapore, a convoy of 20 Harley-Davidson bikes will arrive at City Square Mall on the morning of 2 December 2024, bringing festive cheer to kickstart the holiday season. The Harley-Davidson Toy Run event will be graced by Mayor Denise Phua, who joins the mall in celebrating the festive season with 30 underprivileged children from the Kampong Glam district. From 9 am to 12 pm, shoppers can enjoy a unique photo opportunity with the Harley-Davidson bikes, the perfect backdrop to rev up the heartwarming celebration of community. Be sure to keep your eyes peeled for Harley-Davidson’s exclusive 2024 Hydra-Glide Revival Special Edition – one of only 1,750 worldwide – in a striking shade of red, which will be on display beside the Christmas tree at the Fountain Square till 29 December.
