This June, Marina Square is proud to present SESAME STREET MAGICAL ART WORLD, the internationally acclaimed exhibition making its debut in Southeast Asia. Running from 5 to 28 June 2026, the mall atrium will come alive with large-scale installations, and paintings by 10 global artists each offering a unique reimagining of Sesame Street’s iconic characters. Families, art lovers, and fans of every age are invited to be part of something truly special.
For generations, Sesame Street has captured hearts worldwide through its beloved characters, heartfelt stories, and enduring values. Sesame Workshop, the global nonprofit behind Sesame Street, has spent over five decades operating at the intersection of education, media, and research. Through joyful, meaningful experiences, it continues to enrich young minds and inspire compassion, reaching families in more than 190 countries and helping children to grow smarter, stronger, and kinder.
In collaboration with COEXIST, a platform dedicated to cultural exchange and artistic innovation, SESAME STREET MAGICAL ART WORLD reimagines this legacy through bold contemporary art. Marina Square is the perfect home for this exhibition, a space where families gather, memories are made, and culture comes to life. Together with COEXIST, the mall brings visitors vivid explorations of human connection, and coexistence that are as thought-provoking as they are visually spectacular.

At the heart of the exhibition is “Art Crossing”, where classic pop culture collides with contemporary artistic vision. Working across painting, sculpture, and large-scale installation, each of the featured artists presents a unique reinterpretation of Sesame Street’s beloved characters. Vivid colours, unexpected textures, and striking forms breathe new life into familiar icons, while thoughtfully curated spaces and interactive elements invite visitors to experience them in an entirely new way.
More than a tribute to a global cultural phenomenon, SESAME STREET MAGICAL ART WORLD delves into the deeper educational and social impact of Sesame Street. The works range from abstract, open-ended interpretations to vivid cultural expressions that reflect tradition, identity, and everyday life, highlighting how these beloved characters continue to foster intergenerational and cross-cultural dialogue.
Larger-Than-Life Works by Global Artists
Six monumental inflatable sculptures dominate the atrium. Created by internationally renowned artists including Edgar Plans, Laksamana Ryo, RYOL, and Jun Oson, each piece fuses the artist’s signature style with Sesame Street-inspired elements. Bold, oversized, and impossible to ignore, they double as unmissable photo moments.
Across the exhibition walls, ten distinctive large-scale artworks form an expansive gallery, spanning both inner and outer walls to create a truly immersive viewing experience. Artists include Alex Chien, Jeremy Yamamura, Super Future Kid, Jordi Alos, Jade Kim, Suanjaya Kencut, and J30000. Together, they present a rich tapestry of cultural perspectives, proof that Sesame Street’s spirit truly transcends borders.

Doodle Wonder Alley
Guests are invited to bring their favourite Sesame Street characters to life through chalk and imagination, colouring in maze-like walls illustrated with playful, comic-style outlines of the beloved characters. Week by week, the space fills with colours, transforming into a vibrant, ever-evolving artwork collectively created by everyone who passes through.
Bounce & Play Pit
Open to children aged 4 to 12, this lively ball pit is built for pure joy. Accommodating up to 10 children at a time, participants can bounce, tumble, and dive into a pool of colourful balls. Time slots are required for participation, with a first come first served basis. Terms & Conditions apply.
Golf Play
A colourful mini-golf adventure awaits, featuring six playful holes each uniquely crafted around a Sesame Street-inspired theme. Accommodating up to 10 children aged 4 to 12 years old at a time, every player receives a golf club and soft ball to navigate the course. Time slots are required for participation, with a first come first served basis. Terms & Conditions apply, children are required to wear socks.
Kids Activity Booklet
Each child receives a specially designed activity booklet to guide them through the exhibition, with fun challenges to complete along the way. It serves as both an interactive guide and a keepsake, a meaningful memento for fans to take home and cherish. The first 2,000 children can collect a free set of colouring pencils upon completion of the activities.
