The Asian Festival of Children’s Content (AFCC) is an annual festival that promotes and advocates the creation, development and appreciation of quality Asian stories for children and young adults. Organised by the Singapore Book Council, the festival’s main programmes comprise conference presentations, panels, masterclasses, workshops, and lectures, as well as a line-up of free public programmes.

Asian Festival Of Childrens Content

This is your guide to 4 days of bookish activities, free and ticketed alike! AFCC 2026 explores the imaginative world of children’s books as part of our theme, The Worlds We Make. Head down to the National Library Building this weekend and catch programmes from over 100 local and international speakers as they host panels and workshops, including our Reading Forum and Free Lunchtime Talks.

This year, the AFCC Books Village in the Plaza is home to over 20 book exhibitors and artists’ booths! The AFCC Book Fair is a vibrant and multilingual celebration of children’s literature, featuring an extensive selection of books for all interests, including picture books, fiction, and learning resources. Don’t forget to use your Culture Pass credits for eligible Sing Lit titles.

Families can also wind down with us at Games Night on Saturday evening, as we bring Wormhole’s fan-favourite life-sized world of Worms & Ladders to AFCC for an interactive adventure for all ages.

Check out all these programmes and more at AFCC 2026!
