Join us for a heartwarming evening as Xinyao Lives On brings the spirit of homegrown music to life in the lush surrounds of the Singapore Botanic Gardens!

Be serenaded by the soulful voices of Li Fei Hui, Deng Shu Xian, Hong Shao Xuan, Pan Ying, Xu Guangli, Cai Xinyi as they perform iconic Xinyao classics alongside fresh takes on beloved Singaporean songs.

Whether these melodies are familiar companions from your past or new discoveries, this special evening promises a moving journey through stories of youth, dreams, and belonging.

So pack your mats, gather your loved ones, and come enjoy the nostalgic charm of Xinyao under the open sky – hosted by FM 958’s Lin Zhi.

回到老地 方:新谣大合唱

Following the tremendous success of last year’s *《回到老地方:新谣大合唱, the Bras Basah Complex Merchants’ Association and CAPITAL 958 are delighted to bring back one of Singapore’s most anticipated Xinyao celebrations this September.

Xinyao Singalong Concert

The 2025 edition attracted record crowds to Bras Basah Complex, where audiences spanning generations gathered to sing along to timeless Xinyao classics in an unforgettable celebration of Singapore’s musical heritage. The overwhelming response reaffirmed Bras Basah Complex as a cherished cultural landmark and the perfect setting for bringing the community together through music.

Returning on 4 and 5 September 2026, this year’s edition promises an even more vibrant experience, with CAPITAL 958’s full DJ lineup hosting both evenings and engaging audiences through a nostalgic journey of beloved Xinyao favourites.




Adding to the lively atmosphere are special busking performances by popular street musicians *”闲杂人等” **王志文* and *张祚恩*, entertaining visitors across both days with familiar tunes and interactive performances.
