The Woodleigh Mall is bringing the community together for a season of family fun, pawdates and new discoveries with a line-up of immersive experiences designed to spark creativity, create meaningful moments and ignite exploration.

From aspiring young performers stepping into the spotlight and memorable weekends with furry companions to rewarding food adventures and exciting new store openings, shoppers can look forward to fresh experiences from June to August 2026.

Anchoring the season are three signature experiences: Lil Stars Big Stage, a performance and creativity showcase for young dreamers; The Woodleigh Pawdate, a community event championing pet ownership and animal welfare; and the Food Passport, a mall-wide dining trail that rewards shoppers for exploring the mall’s new and growing line-up of dining establishments.

Woodleigh Has Talent

Headlining the Lil Stars Big Stage campaign is Woodleigh Has Talent (K-pop Dance Edition) where aspiring young performers take to the stage before a live audience and compete in a K-pop dance battle for a share of more than $7,200 worth of prizes. Taking place on 28 June 2026, the competition features the Solo Superstar and Group Powerhouse (2 to 5 participants) categories across two age groups: 4 to 7 years old and 8 to 14 years old.

Star For A Day (22 – 28 June 2026)

Beyond the competition, young dreamers can explore their dreams and take center stage during Star For A Day, a week-long showcase from 22 to 28 June 2026 that will transform the mall’s Level 1 Atrium into a vibrant Superstar Dream Zone. Designed to inspire confidence, creativity and self-expression in children aged 4 to 14, this dynamic programme brings together immersive experiences, dance activities and creative workshops inspired by the world of music, performance and pop culture.

At the heart of the experience is the Superstar Dream Zone, where shoppers can immerse in the excitement of performances and content creation including a magazine-style photoshoot session, a TikTok-inspired live station and a series of K-culture-inspired activities.

Children can also participate in dance sessions conducted by Dancepointe Academy and Signature Moves Lab, where they will explore different dance genres such as hip hop, K-pop and dance sports. Through fun choreography and guided practice, participants can build confidence, develop stage presence, and enjoy learning in a fun and nurturing environment.

Complementing performance-focused experiences is a series of hands-on creative workshops designed to inspire imagination and artistic exploration.

Shoppers can look forward to a series of hands-on activities such as DIY keycap keychain making, glass painting, Korean moru doll making and DIY beaded pen experiences, allowing participants to create personalised keepsakes while exploring new forms of creative expression.

These daily craft and dance workshops will be held throughout the event period, providing families with a variety of engaging experiences to enjoy together during the June school holidays.

To participate, shoppers simply spend $40 nett in a single same-day receipt. The Woodleigh Mall Kids Squad members enjoy one complimentary admission during the campaign period.

The Woodleigh Pawdate (18 & 19 July 2026)

Following the June festivities, pet owners and animal lovers can look forward to The Woodleigh Pawdate, a vibrant weekend celebration of pets, community and animal welfare that will take place on 18 and 19 July 2026, from 11am to 6pm.

In partnership with Hope for Animals, a social enterprise experienced in delivering community-focused pet initiatives, the two-day event will bring together pet owners, families and animal welfare groups through a curated line-up of interactive experiences, educational showcases and adoption opportunities. In support of a meaningful cause, all proceeds from the admission tickets will be donated to participating animal welfare groups.

Admission is priced at $5 per person, or 800 S3 Rewards points (worth $4) for members, and includes a goodie pack worth $15 featuring a $10 Surrey Hills Grocer eVoucher, $5 Cow Play Cow Moo eVoucher, and an event Bingo Card. The first 100 attendees to complete their daily Bingo Card challenge will receive a goodie bag worth $100.

In support of Hope for Animals and participating animal welfare groups, shoppers can also redeem an exclusive two-piece coaster set inspired by the mascots of Hope for Animals. From 17 July to 30 August 2026, shoppers who spend a minimum of $80 in two same-day receipts can redeem one coaster set, while stocks last.

Adding to the fun, pet owners can create a personalised Pawfect Card (Pokemon-inspired Card) for their furry companions. Available for the first 100 redemptions daily, the collectible keepsakes can also be pre-ordered by 50 registered attendees ahead of the event.

Spanning three experiential zones across the mall, visitors can explore an aviary display, meet cat welfare groups, browse pet-themed merchandise booths, and participate in a series of dog-focused activities and live demonstrations designed to promote responsible pet ownership.

Programme highlights include a Pet First Aid Showcase, Dog Food Demonstration & Interactive Fun Session, the ever-popular Temptation Trail and an Obstacle Course Challenge open to members of the public and their pets. Those looking to welcome a new companion into their homes can also connect with participating animal welfare organisations (Cat Welfare Society, Alison Cat Care, Mercylight, Every Stray Matters and Paws for Cause) through dedicated cat and dog adoption drives that will be held throughout the weekend.
