Singapore Hokkien Lam Ann Festival Returns: A bigger, better celebration with an expanded range of over 40 Lam Ann dishes and immersive cultural experiences

From interactive workshops to AI and VR experiential booths, there’s something for everyone to enjoy the rich tapestry of Lam Ann culture

The Singapore Hokkien Lam Ann Festival returns this year with an even richer and more immersive experience. Showcasing the vibrant heritage of the Lam Ann community, the festival will highlight the four key pillars of their culture: the Hong San See temple, Lam Ann cuisine, Sheng Gong culture, and the enduring Lam Ann spirit.

Get ready to indulge in over 40 dishes from more than 20 food stalls, featuring Lam Ann favourites like Hokkien Hu Tou Vermicelli, Hokkien Dumplings, Hokkien Mee, Oyster Omelette, and sweet treats such as Ang Ku Kueh, Sweet Potato Cake, and Peanut Soup.

Alongside the culinary delights, enjoy various cultural activities and family workshops. Create lanterns, bake piglet mooncakes, sculpt clay figures, practice Chinese calligraphy and ink painting, and explore Lam Ann culture through exciting AI and VR experiences.

Held at the Lam Ann Association beside the historic Hong San See Temple, visitors can also take the opportunity to explore this beautifully restored UNESCO Asia-Pacific Heritage Award-winning landmark. This festival is a unique chance to experience the colourful traditions and heritage of Nan’An province in Fujian, China.
