For the upcoming March school holidays, Shangri-La Rasa Sentosa, Singapore’s only beachfront resort, debuts its new Seaside Pony & Picnic Experience, a specially designed family stay package available from 13 to 22 March 2026 that brings together interactive pony activities, quality bonding time over seaside picnics and signature resort activities in one immersive offering.

Arriving in the Year of the Horse, the programme offers young guests the opportunity to connect with these gentle animals in an open-air setting by the sea. During the guided one-hour session, children will enjoy dedicated time with the ponies, taking part in pony riding, grooming and feeding activities, while learning about their behaviour and daily care. Conducted in a safe and structured setting, the experience encourages close interaction with the animals and helps children develop confidence and a sense of responsibility. Participation is open to children aged 3 to 12 years old, weighing below 40kg.

Beyond the pony experience, families can look forward to a relaxed seaside picnic, complete with a take-home bag and picnic mat, perfect for an afternoon by the shore. The package also includes daily breakfast at Silver Shell Cafe and access to sea sports such as kayaking, stand-up paddle boarding and pedal boating at the resort’s private beach.

Guests can take part in daily Rasa Fun activities designed for all ages and wellness experiences for adults. In-house privileges at The Palawan @ Sentosa, just 5 minutes away via the resort’s complimentary shuttle bus or buggy, further extend the family adventure beyond the resort.
