The Live Turtle And Tortoise Museum is a unique attraction located in Singapore, dedicated to the preservation and conservation of turtles and tortoises. The museum is home to over 800 turtles and tortoises of more than 50 different species, including rare and endangered ones such as the Indian Star Tortoise, Radiated Tortoise, and the African Spurred Tortoise. Visitors can see these fascinating creatures up close and learn about their habitat, behavior, and unique features.

One of the highlights of the museum is the giant tortoise exhibit, where visitors can see some of the largest tortoises in the world, such as the Aldabra Giant Tortoise, which can weigh up to 250kg and live up to 200 years. Visitors can also witness the feeding of these gentle giants and watch them roam freely in their spacious enclosures.

Another popular exhibit is the turtle pond, which is home to several species of turtles, including the Red-eared Slider, Chinese Softshell Turtle, and the Painted Turtle. Visitors can feed the turtles and even hold them under the guidance of the museum’s staff.

The museum also has a breeding program for turtles and tortoises, aimed at increasing their population and conserving the endangered species. Visitors can learn about the breeding process and see the hatchlings in their incubators.
