There are 11 public holidays in Singapore out of which there will be five long weekends (with holidays falling on a Friday, Sunday or Monday) in 2024.

Two public holidays fall on a Friday:
- Good Friday (29 March 2024)
- National Day (9 August 2024)
Public holiday which falls on a Sunday:
- Chinese New Year (11 February)
There are two holidays falling on a Monday:
- New Year’s Day (1 January 2024)
- Hari Raya Haji (17 June 2024)^
Note: If a public holiday falls on a Sunday, the following Monday will be a designated public holiday.
The first and second days of Chinese New Year fall on Saturday and Sunday, hence the following Monday, 12 February 2024, will be a public holiday, forming a long weekend of three days.

- Vesak Day (23 May 2024)
- Deepavali (31 October 2024)^
