Get creative this Lunar New Year at Raffles Place Park with a special festive workshop! Happening from 12pm – 2pm on 5 and 6 February, the Park will welcome a special Tree of Fortune adorned with beautiful handmade origami red packets, as well as various symbolic animals.

Draw inspiration from these enchanting displays, or unleash your creativity as you craft your own festive crafts: from origami snakes and red packets to intricate origami fish, there is no limit to what you can create. Organised by homegrown art collective PLAY!, visitors to the Park are invited to make their mark by decorating the Tree of Fortune.

You can fold and assemble your red packets on the spot, or if you are pressed for time, you can choose a pre-made piece to decorate the tree. Magnetic strips are also provided if you wish to display your artwork at home or on your refrigerator door, or to hold your personal well-wishes for the new year.
