Get excited! Our iconic shopping belt in Singapore – Orchard Road will be bustling with life, meaningful adventures, and other fun things to do in October!

Organised by the Public Hygiene Council in conjunction with the Quarterly SG Clean Day, “Picnic in the City” 🏖 will take place on Sunday, 30 October 2022, from 8am to 10.30am at Somerset Youth Park! The event aims to inspire participants to adopt a sustainable lifestyle and coming forward to show your commitment towards a truly clean Singapore.

Picnic In the City 2022

Join us for a full-filled Sunday morning. We will kick off the event with a scavenger litter hunt as we explore the Orchard shopping belt to find litter-themed objects. Following that, you will be treated to an exciting lineup of activities and enjoy a lovely “Picnic in the City”.

You may also do your part to keep Singapore clean by picking up litter (litter-picking tongs will be provided) as you take part in the scavenger hunt!

Limited edition foldable and waterproof Supermon picnic mats that are reusable and goodies bags will be given out to the first 250 successfully registered participants only.

After the hunt, participants can find a nice spot to relax the morning away in Somerset Youth Park after the hunt. You can soak in the nature, fresh air of the park and spend quality time with your families, against the backdrop of the vibrant iconic Orchard Road shopping malls. Participants will also be entertained by live performances hosted by UFM100.3 DJs and lots of fun activities such as photo-takings with your favourite DJs, “Appreciating Our Cleaners” ceremony and hang out with our Supermons – you can strike a pose with Toilemon, shake hands with Trashemon or even give Trayremon a big hug for the family album!

This experience is a great way for everyone to learn the importance of binning responsibly and cleaning up after themselves!

Remember to come dressed in lightweight clothing and shoes, and bring your drinks and snacks!
