The Rainforest Wild Park was originally planned to open in 2022, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, its opening was postponed to 2024 (TBD). The park is set to be a part of the larger Mandai Nature Precinct, which also includes the Singapore Zoo, Night Safari, River Wonders and Bird Paradise.

The Rainforest Wild Park is designed to be a multi-sensory and immersive experience that showcases the biodiversity of Southeast Asia. It will feature various habitats, including the rainforest, mangrove forest, and wetlands, and is expected to be home to more than 300 species of animals.

Some of the planned attractions for the Rainforest Wild Park include a treetop walk, an immersive river experience, and a multi-level exhibit showcasing animals from different layers of the rainforest. The park is also expected to have an emphasis on conservation and education, with opportunities for visitors to learn about the importance of protecting and preserving natural habitats and wildlife.
