Butterbear is coming to Singapore – and she’s bringing a whole lot of sweetness to orchardgateway!
Marking the first time a shopping mall in Singapore will host campaigns featuring Butterbear, the activation will invite fans and shoppers to explore, play and collect across orchardgateway, from now to 18 October 2026, leading up to the sold-out Butterbear Happy Walk on 17 October 2026.
From embarking on the Butterbear In-mall Happy Quest and discovering great rewards, to snapping photos at Butterbear-themed installations and collecting adorable goodies, there are plenty of ways to discover and bring home a little Butterbear magic at orchardgateway.
A Month of Butterbear Adventures at orchardgateway
In the lead-up to the Butterbear Happy Walk, orchardgateway will be sprinkled with all things Butterbear, with a series of activities designed for both event participants and everyday shoppers.
Redeem Happy Treats
Take home a gift from Butterbear and redeem other treats when you shop at orchardgateway from now to 18 October 2026! With 4 colours within the collection, every happy treat brings a little thrill to shoppers, whether they will get the colour they desire!
- Spend a minimum of $120 to redeem a $10 voucher and one-hour free parking coupon
- Spend a minimum of $250 to redeem an additional Butterbear Blind Box, which contains one of four different designs of an eco bag and charm
Take part in the Happy Quest and Redeem Prizes
From 26 September to 9 October 2026, shoppers can embark on the Butterbear Happy Quest, an in-mall hunt spanning 10 checkpoints across orchardgateway!
Guided by a digital map, participants can explore different corners of the mall, visit shops and key locations, and keep an eye out for each checkpoint along the way. Shoppers can also keep an eye out for Butterbear in different looks as they explore the mall, with plenty of opportunities to snap a photo and discover playful surprises along the way!
Those who complete the hunt will be able to redeem an exciting prize during the Race Pack Collection period from 9 to 10 October 2026, while stocks last.
A Happy Walk Through the Heart of Singapore
The month-long celebration will culminate in the Butterbear Happy Walk – which has since sold out – on 17 October 2026! Thousands of participants are set to lace up and set off on a sweet stroll from Fort Canning Park to orchardgateway.
Beyond the walk itself, participants can look forward to a lively race-day atmosphere, with participating stores at orchardgateway also joining the celebration through activities, games, prizes and promotions.
But the Butterbear fun doesn’t stop at the walk! Butterbear is popping up all around the mall! From larger-than-life displays to thematic standees, fans can spot Butterbear in different looks as they explore the mall throughout the celebration.
A Sweet Finish to the Happy Walk at orchardgateway
The fun doesn’t stop once the Happy Walk is over! When participants reach the finish line at orchardgateway, they’ll discover adorable Butterbear photo spots around the mall that make for the perfect backdrop to commemorate their achievement.
These include a 4-metre-high inflatable at the Plaza and a 2-metre-high inflatable in front of Jian Cha at B1, festive flags along the Beam walkway, and celebratory banners decorating the tube and the Level 1 Runway.
Even after the Happy Walk concludes, shoppers can continue snapping photos with the Butterbear inflatables around the mall until 1 November 2026.
Participating stores will also be adding their own sweet touches to the celebrations with special activities, vouchers and attractive discounts. CHAGEE, Coffee by Dlike, Jian Cha, Nong Geng Ji and YGF Mala Tang, alongside lifestyle brands such as Rolife and Hands on Klay, will bring even more ways for shoppers and Happy Walk participants to enjoy the festivities.
Happy Walk participants can also look forward to playful in-store activities and prizes around orchardgateway at the end of the race. They can put their senses to the test at CHAGEE’s special ‘Smell & Guess the Tea’ challenge. At Nong Geng Ji, they can test their chopstick skills in a special Giant Chopsticks Challenge, picking up fruit and vegetable props from a pool of balls, while Hands on Klay invites participants to recreate a hidden arrangement of five items for a chance to win prizes.
Available exclusively to Happy Walk participants on race day at orchardgateway, these one-day-only activities offer even more fun to look forward to once they reach the finish line!
Chop, Collect & Win More Butterbear Goodies!
The excitement doesn’t stop here! Beyond the prizes up for grabs through the various games at participating stores, participants can unlock even more Butterbear-themed rewards as they make their way around the mall.
Race participants can collect a Game Card at any participating store, and collect a stamp there after completing the respective activity. Once at least 3 stamps on the card have been filled, participants can head to the Lucky Draw Booth at B1, in front of Scarlett (#B1-03), to redeem an exclusive Butterbear sticker sheet. Both the Game Cards and Butterbear sticker sheet will be available on a first-come, first-served basis while stock lasts.
