Results of this year’s Primary School Leaving Examination (PSLE) will be released on during the week of 18 to 22 November 2019 (likely to be 21 Nov 2019 based on previous years). The Ministry of Education (MOE) and Singapore Examinations and Assessment Board (SEAB) will update via press release when the dates are confirmed.

Pupils can collect their result slips from their primary schools from 11am.

Below are the information based on previous year:

Eligible students will receive option forms to select secondary schools when they collect their results slips. Students should discuss their secondary school choices with their parents before they complete the Secondary 1 (S1) Option Forms.

In every S1 Option Form, there will be a unique S1 Personal Identification Number (S1 PIN) which can be found at the top right-hand corner of the form. The S1 PIN can be used to submit the secondary school options online via the Secondary 1 Internet System (S1-IS). The S1-IS will be accessible from 11am on 21 November 2019 to 3pm on 27 November 2019 (tentative) through the Ministry of Education’s (MOE) website at

Students, in discussion with their parents, should first consider their secondary school choices, make their decision, and then complete the option form before logging on to the S1-IS. This will help to facilitate the smooth completion of their online submission.

Alternatively, the option form can be submitted through the student’s primary school. Your child’s primary school will be open for in person submission tentatively from 11am to 3pm on Thursday, 21 November, and 9am to 3pm from Friday, 22 November to Wednesday, 27 November. Please note that schools will not be open on weekends.

The S1 Posting Results will be released on Friday, 20 December 2019 (tentative). The posting results can be accessed through any of the following channels:

  • Short Message Service (SMS) via a local mobile number (if provided by the applicant during the application process)
  • S1-IS at
  • At the student’s primary school

Students are to report to the secondary school they are posted to on 23 December 2019 at 8.30am (tentative).
