With the Mid-Autumn Festival quickly dawning on us, Punggol residents will have a galore of exciting family-fun activities coming their way this September – courtesy of One Punggol.
From now till 10 September, there will be several pop-up booths for paper lantern paintings at The Plaza and families are welcome to decorate their own lanterns. Children and their parents can join in these free daily arts & craft workshop at the Hub and get creative!
And what’s more… 1,000 lanterns painted by Punggol residents will be curated together and transformed into a giant lantern art installation for the official Light-Up ceremony which will take place on 15 September 2023 at 6pm. Pasir Ris – Punggol Grassroots Advisers will be joining Punggol residents as they enjoy fun-filled interactive games and family-friendly activities such as inflatable bouncy castles and free snack giveaways.

In addition, One Punggol will officially celebrate Mid-Autumn Festival 2023 on 29 September 2023 with cultural performances, lion & dragon dance and a lantern walk for families. Pasir Ris – Punggol Grassroot advisers will again join residents in an evening of merriment.
One Punggol’s Mid-Autumn festivities will be lit up every night till 29 September 2023. Free admission to the public. Ramping up the festive cheer and colourful lights, the celebration is aimed at young families as Punggol Town is a vibrant and relatively new neighbourhood with a younger population.

One Punggol is an integrated community and lifestyle hub that aims to create a vibrant and energetic community that thrives through a sustainable environment. Led by the People’s Association, One Punggol is an integrated resident-centric community hub for the new Punggol district.
