In partnership with Breast Cancer Foundation (BCF), Millennium Hotels and Resorts brings guests and communities together through interactive experiences, wellness offerings and fundraising initiatives in support of breast cancer awareness.
This October, Millennium Hotels and Resorts (MHR) is launching ‘Moments That Matter‘, creating meaningful experiences that bring people together, enrich communities and leave a lasting impact.
The initiative will feature ‘Threads of Care’, an interactive wall, alongside a pink-themed afternoon tea experience.
Threads of Care – Weaving Messages of Strength

As part of Moments That Matter, Threads of Care is an interactive installation that invites the community to come together and share messages of strength and support for those living with breast cancer, survivors, their loved ones and caregivers.
The display will be set up in hotel lobbies, welcoming both guests and members of the public to take part. Visitors can collect a thread from the front desk and personalise it with their name and a message of hope before tying it onto the wall, creating a collective expression of solidarity for those affected by breast cancer.
Threads of Care will take place across all six of MHR’s Singapore properties, with guests and members of the public encouraged to add their unique touches on each display. Once a wall is filled with tags, each hotel will make a S$1,000 donation to BCF, turning every thread of support into a meaningful contribution to the community.
A Touch of Pink, A Moment of Wellness
MHR is also marking Breast Cancer Awareness Month with curated afternoon tea experiences that encourage guests to pause and prioritise their wellbeing.

Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel Singapore is collaborating with local brand Luli on a wellness afternoon tea experience (priced at S$96 per set for two) featuring pink-themed savoury and sweet creations such as Balik salmon on pink toast and Yuzu Prawn Pie Tee, along with other wellness-inspired culinary creations. A Continued Commitment to Making Every Moment Matter
MHR and BCF marked the launch of ‘Moments That Matter’ with a preview at Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel Singapore. The event featured a roundtable discussion involving Carolyn Wishnowski, Vice President, Global Branding, Marketing and Loyalty, MHR, Jacob Soo, Chief Executive Officer, BCF and Shermin Shu, a breast cancer patient, who shared their perspectives on what meaningful support looks like throughout the breast cancer journey.
Guests were also the first to experience ‘Threads of Care’ and were invited to pen down heartfelt messages that were hung on the installation.

“Breast cancer affects not only those living with the condition, but also their families, friends and caregivers who support them through this difficult journey. At the heart of Moments that Matter is Millennium Hotels and Resorts’ commitment to bringing our values of care, culture and connection to life, by creating spaces where people feel welcomed and uplifted,” said Carolyn Wishnowski, Vice President, Global Branding, Marketing and Loyalty, Millennium Hotels and Resorts. “Through this partnership with the Breast Cancer Foundation, we hope these moments will extend beyond our hotels and make a difference to the community affected by breast cancer, while reminding them that they are not alone in their struggles.”
“Breast cancer is a journey that no one should have to walk alone. While awareness is important, what truly makes a difference is when that awareness translates into action – whether it is taking charge of our own breast health, reaching out to someone going through treatment, or simply reminding a caregiver or loved one that they are supported,” said Jacob Soo, Chief Executive Officer, Breast Cancer Foundation. “We are heartened to see Millennium Hotels and Resorts creating opportunities for the wider community to take part in meaningful ways. Every gesture of support helps build a more connected and compassionate community around those affected by breast cancer.”
Moments That Matter extends beyond the guest experiences. Throughout October, staff across MHR’s Singapore properties will also wear pink ribbons as a visible gesture of solidarity and to encourage conversations around breast cancer awareness.
MHR also invites guests and members of the public to visit its Singapore properties and come together to create moments of care and connection.
