• The drone show scheduled on 17 Feb (Saturday) has been brought forward to 15 Feb (Thursday) instead. There will be no show on Saturday.
• ⁠All remaining shows (15, 16, 18 Feb) will also take place at 9pm, instead of 8pm.

Notice (6 Feb)

The Legend of the Dragon Gate – Drone Show by the Bay, originally set for 6 Feb (Tue) at 8pm at the Marina Bay waterfront, has been cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances.
The first drone show will now happen on 10 Feb at 8pm, followed by additional drone shows on 11, 12, 16, 17 and 18 Feb at 8pm.

In the meantime, our annual Lunar New Year light up event at The Shoppes on 6 Feb, 7.30pm will continue as scheduled.

Celebrate the commencement of the auspicious Year of the Wood Dragon with extravagant festivities at Marina Bay Sands.

The iconic venue is poised to usher in the Lunar New Year with grandeur, featuring the annual Light Up event complemented by a vibrant array of festive performances.

The highlight of the celebration is the breathtaking drone show, titled “The Legend of the Dragon Gate,” where 1,500 drones gracefully soar through the night sky, illuminating a dazzling spectacle that marks the beginning of the Lunar New Year festivities.

This remarkable event pays homage to the mythical dragon, symbolizing a majestic force of nature exuding regal power, abundant luck, and boundless fortune as it soars boldly from the seas to the sky.

THE DRAGON AWAKENS: 2024 LIGHT UP

The occasion will feature performances of dragon and lion dances, captivating koi dancers, a contemporary Chinese art exhibition presented by the Singapore Chinese Dance Theatre, and a performance by Singaporean singer-songwriter Nathan Hartono.
