Experience the transformative power of art at the UBS Art Studio at ART SG 2025, Southeast Asia’s leading international art fair presented by Founding and Lead Partner UBS. From encountering the captivating works of leading Thai contemporary artist Mit Jai Inn to weaving with the community, the UBS Art Studio invites fairgoers to connect, create, and be inspired by art at the heart of Southeast Asia.

Commissioned by the UBS Art Collection, Mit Jai Inn brings his signature use of color and boundary-defying art to ART SG 2025. In this solo presentation, visitors are invited to move through, look beyond what is immediately visible. The Window (2024), a 10-meter-wide canvas with cuts and slits, offers audiences a glimpse of the wall behind. Conversely, The Wall (2024), which comprises interactive double-sided paintings suspended in mid-air, encourages viewers to get up close and navigate around each panel when entering the space. Also on display is a work from the UBS Art Collection, Untitled, ST DD23 (2022) – a rainbow-colored painting that embodies Mit’s vision of a harmonious, interconnected world, providing an escape from complicated reality.
In a separate part of the UBS Art Studio, the Sustainable Weaving Studio features a 60-meter-long tapestry woven by UBS employees, community partners, and the public to commemorate Singapore’s 60 years of independence. It launches UBS’s year-long Art for All community art program. Facilitated by Art Outreach, this project echoes Mit’s belief in art as a social force, highlighting the power of art to foster collaboration, where everyone can contribute to society through creative reimagining and positive change. Fairgoers are invited to participate in this weaving initiative at the Sustainable Weaving Studio during ART SG.
Jin Yee Young, Co-Head UBS Global Wealth Management Asia Pacific and Country Head UBS Singapore, said: “UBS is the Founding and Lead Partner of ART SG for the third consecutive year. As part of our commitment to fostering a vibrant art scene, the UBS Art Collection has commissioned Thai artist Mit Jai Inn to create artworks for the UBS Lounge and UBS Art Studio. UBS Singapore will also launch our inaugural “Art for All” community program with a 60 metre long tapestry to commemorate Singapore’s 60 years of independence. Displayed at the UBS Art Studio, the weaving of the tapestry will also be open for public participation during the fair.”
Step into a meditative experience, away from the hustle and bustle of ART SG at the UBS Art Studio this January to celebrate art, community, and sustainability.
