OTH Festival 2024 ‘Every Little Thing’ Highlights Family Fun with Arts, Sports & Carnival Activities

Singapore’s largest integrated community and lifestyle hub will be hosting a month-long OTH Festival 2024 ‘Every Little Thing’ – held from 25 May till 23 June 2024 – with music, arts, sports, community, lifestyle and carnival activities for the whole family.

Families play an important role in our lives and the OTH Festival will see the Hub transformed into an enchanting carnival fairground where everyone can inspire, nurture and build a Tampines community that is built for and by residents.

OTH is reaching out to families and Hub visitors through an exciting lineup of fun-filled activities, community engagements and programmes that will help build a family-centric neighbourhood.

The OTH Festival is held in conjunction with Families for Life’s National Family Festival 2024 that takes place at several venues during the June school holiday.

OTH will be partnering with families, residents, artists, and community partners to explore family-centric activities and programmes in the areas of arts, culture, innovation, wellness, sports, and creativity. These are some of the highlights of the festival:

• Music Festival: Pumping up the excitement are 5 weekend music concerts for the whole family with Blues, Soul and Funk music from local musicians Solid State, M.I.C, bitty, Nick Zavier, Uberjam and superstar Ska band Geylang Ska Orchestra. Come join us on Saturdays at 6pm on 25 May, 1 June, 8 June, 15 June & 22 June at the Festive Plaza.

• Arts: ‘Every Little Thing’ highlights the spirit of inclusivity and co-creation as the core of the OTH Festival. Featuring local artists such as Ripple Root, ADDADDADD, Nur Surianita, So Jo Huang and photographer Lee Weixiang with a stunning community-based photography installation, all artists will be working onsite with residents and volunteers in Tampines to co-create the artworks. Drop by the Festive Walk from 25 May to 17 June and catch our art installations inspired by contemporary icons, catchy public art and everyday designs, where every little thing matters.

• The Fairground: Inspired by the surrealistic lost wonderland, Donna is looking for the lost creatures, join her tour nightly from 7pm, listen to tall tales and stories that bring you nowhere except in the fairground. You will be greeted by people throwing arms and legs, running kids and chasing parents. Anyway you will have plenty of fun exploring and overseeing the social landscape and drama at The Fairground. Filled with enchanting carnival rides whimsical inflatables, sports fun, music and magic in the air! The Fairground is open to the public from 14–23 June (5-10pm on weekdays and 3-10pm on weekends) at the Town Square.

Family fun at inflatables at Our Tampines Hub

• OTH Kids Club: Meet and greet our favourite Timmy and Tammy mascots over the weekends on 15, 16, 17, 22 & 23 June at 7pm and 8pm. Look out for our Timmy and Tammy inflatable that’s more than 5 metre tall at the Fairground too!

• Plastic Upcycling Workshops: Families, young and old, can join in these craft workshops and do their part in eco-sustainability. Whether it is to upcycle plastic waste into personalised coasters with cool colours or upcycle plastic bags into tote bags with trendy designs, residents can join in the workshops on 15 and 16 June at the Function Room 2 on Level 4.

• Pop-up Fun Booth: Explore exciting lineup of activities with National Library Board and Singapore Press Holdings at the pop-up fun booth and create unforgettable memories with us.
