Building Confident Voices and Creative Minds This June

ACT 3 Holiday Workshops

The June holidays offer a valuable window for children to explore, express, and grow beyond the classroom. At ACT 3 International, our holiday workshops are designed to nurture confident communicators and imaginative thinkers through carefully crafted programmes in drama and oracy.

Whether a child is stepping onto the stage for the first time or learning to articulate their ideas with clarity, these workshops provide a supportive environment where learning is active, engaging, and meaningful.

Drama Workshops

ACT 3 Drama Academy Drama Workshops

This June, young participants will explore Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, a story rich with imagination, humour, and memorable characters. Through guided drama activities, children take on roles, make creative choices, and bring scenes to life. They are not simply memorising lines. They are thinking, responding, and shaping the story together.

Families can choose from one off sessions or week long workshops. One off sessions offer a lively entry point into drama, while the week long workshops allow children to immerse themselves more fully in the story and creative process.

In the one off sessions, children step into key moments from the story through focused drama activities. Each session is complete in itself, allowing them to explore characters, situations, and ideas in a dynamic and engaging way. It is an opportunity to experience the joy of drama, build confidence, and collaborate with others in a short, impactful format.

For those joining the full week, each session builds towards a final sharing. By the end of the programme, children present a stage performance for parents. This moment is not just about showcasing what they have learned. It is about giving children a sense of ownership, achievement, and pride in their creative journey.

Young Speakers Workshops

Clear communication is a lifelong skill. The ability to organise thoughts and express ideas with confidence supports children in school and beyond. Our Young Speakers workshops focus on building these essential oracy skills in a focused three day format.

In these sessions, children learn how to structure their ideas, choose their words carefully, and speak with clarity and purpose. Through guided activities, they practise storytelling, sharing opinions, and presenting in front of others.

The emphasis is on helping children find their own voice. Rather than memorising scripts, they learn how to think on their feet, listen actively, and respond thoughtfully. This builds not only confidence but also authenticity in communication.

A Holistic Learning Experience

ACT 3 Drama Academy Holiday Workshops

Both the drama and young speakers workshops are grounded in the belief that children learn best through experience. By engaging the body, voice, and imagination, they develop skills that extend far beyond the workshop setting.

Drama encourages children to explore different perspectives and build empathy, while oracy strengthens their ability to communicate their own ideas. Together, these programmes support a well rounded development of confidence, creativity, and communication.
