The NAC-ExxonMobil Concert in the Park series was launched in 1996, with the aim of bringing the arts to new audiences and exposing them to various art forms through a series of quality concerts held at accessible parks. The target audiences include neighbourhood communities, youth, families and senior citizens. The series is sponsored by ExxonMobil and supported by National Parks Board and has been generally well-received by the public over the years.
Usually held four times a year, NAC-ExxonMobil Concert in the Park brings you an afternoon of quality performances and fringe activities, featuring emerging and established artists.

Arts@SBG: NAC-ExxonMobil Concert in the Gardens presents Kulcha

📅 14 Mar 2026
🕙 6pm – 7pm
📍 Shaw Foundation Symphony Stage
A celebration of unity through music, Kulcha is a dynamic local world music band that blends global grooves with deep cultural roots. Come share in a joyful performance as Kulcha seamlessly weaves together fresh takes on familiar favourites—think Michael Jackson with a world beat twist – alongside their own stirring original compositions. Kulcha invites audiences of all ages to move, connect, and celebrate the universal language of music.
About the Artist
KULCHA is a Singapore-based fusion outfit crafting contemporary world music from deep Asian roots. Fusing traditional instruments—Chinese pipa, Indian bansuri, and Middle Eastern gambus—with modern grooves and textures, the band creates a sound that’s raw, layered, and unmistakably current.
Through original compositions and reworked traditions, KULCHA interrogates ideas of heritage, identity, and belonging—asking what culture means in a fast-moving, urban world, and what it takes to claim something as our own.
