The popular event is back with a delicious twist 6 to 8 February 2026, Friday to Sunday Urban Park, Guoco Tower #tasteontrack

Hot off the heels of the immensely successful October 2025 edition that welcomed a steady stream of Japan-enthusiasts, ‘Taste on Track: Japan Rail Fair 2026’ debuts with a refreshed format that places Japanese food culture at the heart of the railway travel experience. The event will take place from 6 to 8 February 2026 at its iconic home, Urban Park at Guoco Tower.

This free fair takes place at the breezy, spacious area just outside JAPAN RAIL CAFE, and serves as a delicious, food-focused prelude to the main Japan Rail Fair held annually in October.

While celebrating the country’s beloved railway culture, ‘Taste on Track: Japan Rail Fair 2026’, organised by JR East Business Development SEA Pte. Ltd. (SEABD), takes a ‘tunnel’ deep exploration into the rich diversity of Japanese food products and culinary experiences inspired by none other than railway travel across Japan.

Among the 20 lively and interactive booths will be key highlights such as ‘Fresh, Fast & Secure – JAL de Hako-byun Shinkansen Delivery’ – a premium farm-to-table experience that brings seasonal Japanese fruits directly to Singapore via JR East’s newly-launched Hako-byun Shinkansen freight network and Japan Airlines air cargo which combines air and rail networks for same-day or next-day deliveries of premium regional produce across Japan. In addition to this, enjoy a perfect izakaya-style summer pairing by JAPAN RAIL CAFE, along with representatives from well-known brands such as Nissin Foods, Kiyoken and Matcha An; as well as prefectures such as Fukushima, Akita and Ishikawa.

Complementing the food booths will be the ever-popular representatives from tourism organisations and alcohol brands that will serve as valuable resources for travel planning and imbibing respectively.

Enthuses Makoto Yamataka, Managing Director of JR East Business Development SEA Pte. Ltd.: “This event was created with a simple belief – that food is the most universal – and most delicious – gateway into Japan’s heart. Here, visitors will be greeted by sights, aromas and flavours that draw people back to the country time and time again, and discover how our railways connect not just stations, but stories, people and the rich tapestry of East Japan to the world.”

Taste on Track: Japan Rail Fair 2026 is open from 6 to 8 February 2026, 11am to 8pm at Level 1, Urban Park at Guoco Tower.
