This celebration of Singapore’s 60th year of independence will run from July to August.
Changi Airport Group (CAG) and Jewel Changi Airport (Jewel) unveiled a lineup of SG60 events from July to August, themed “Together, We Make Magic” – a tribute to Singapore’s unique identity and the people who shaped it.
“We’re excited to launch celebrations for our nation’s 60th birthday,” said Mr Jayson Goh, Executive Vice-President of Airport Management, Changi Airport Group. “Changi Airport has grown alongside our nation, and it is a place which holds precious memories for many Singaporeans and travellers. With a vibrant line-up of events, we look forward to welcoming everyone to be part of the SG60 festivities at Changi Airport.”

Enjoy a magical evening of local music, set against Jewel’s Forest Valley.
The concert is free, but a ticket is required for entry. Tickets will be distributed to the public via ballot. More details will be out on Changi Airport’s social media channels by early-July.

Donations can be made on the event page. CAG will match contributions dollar-for-dollar (up to S$60,000) via the Changi Foundation. Eligible donations will also be matched by SG Gives, turning every S$1 into S$4 for the Community Chest.
Marvel at the breathtaking arches that make up the SG60 outdoor light-up
From 28 July, visitors driving along Airport Boulevard will be greeted by an enchanting outdoor light-up. Marking ’60 years of Homecoming’, the road will be lined with images of iconic locations like the Merlion, Toa Payoh Dragon Playground, and Gardens by the Bay, leading to a mesmerising arch in the red and white of the Singapore flag.
Stunning horticultural displays across Changi’s terminals and Jewel
Celebrate Singapore’s national flower, the Vanda Miss Joaquim, at Terminal 3 with a 270 sqm floral garden from 21 July. The showcase features orchids like Dendrobium Changi Airport and Renanthera Singaporeans, anchored by a seven-metre-tall Vanda Miss Joaquim centrepiece – a tribute to Singapore as a City in Nature.
At Terminal 2, a six-metre floral Merlion created using 60 types of plants stands proudly by the Wonderfall, symbolising national pride and heritage. There are also floral displays featuring iconic local snacks like curry puffs that bring a sensory celebration of Singaporean identity.
At Jewel, over 1,200 orchids will transform the Jewel Forest Valley into a vivid floral display from 1 to 31 August, featuring red and white blooms symbolising unity. A special Dendrobium Jewel Changi Airport hybrid, created to mark Jewel’s fifth anniversary, will also be showcased.
