Singapore Cable Car Debuts One-of-a-Kind Pokémon Cabins For The Festive Season

In celebrations ahead of the Singapore Cable Car’s 50th anniversary, Mount Faber Leisure Group is kicking off the holiday season with a dazzling array of festive-themed Pokémon cabins from 1st November 2023. Following the successful Pokémon campaign in May this year, the entire fleet of 67 cabins on the Mount Faber Line will feature Pokémon in jolly festive outfits, complete with wreaths and mistletoes spreading the season’s joys.

Apart from the iconic red and white Poké Ball cabins, guests are now treated to an allure of four other Poké Ball designs from the Pokémon world – the blue and red Great Ball, the striking black and yellow Ultra Ball, the rare purple and pink Master Ball, and the pink Love Ball.

Capture the Pokémon holiday spirit at Mount Faber and Sentosa Station Guests visiting Mount Faber Peak are in for a delightful surprise. Here, guests can snap fun and memorable photos with the vintage cabins that feature well-loved Pokémon such as Jigglypuff, Psyduck and Snorlax.

The celebrations continue with an expansive festive photo wall that features Pokémon from Kanto Region such as Charmander and Bulbasaur, as well as Pokémon from Galar and Paldea like Yamper and Pawmi. It encapsulates the vibrant holiday spirit, as the perfect backdrop for guests to capture memorable moments together.

Tickets to the Singapore Cable Car are available at ticketing counters and on the MFLG website. From 1 November, guests will enjoy a 20% discount on online purchases of the Cable Car Sky Pass (Round Trip). This pass offers a round trip on both the Mount Faber and Sentosa Lines and comes with complimentary chips and a drink. Over-the-counter Cable Car Sky Passes are priced regularly at $35, and offer the exclusive option to top-up $10 at the counter for unlimited one-day rides on the cable car.

Guests are entitled to a complimentary Pokémon sun visor by purchasing tickets to the Singapore Cable Car from any over-the-counter and online purchases, while stocks last.

Savour the season with delightful festive offerings at Arbora Hilltop Garden & Bistro Besides the festive cable car rides, guests can enjoy a jolly holiday gathering on Mount Faber Peak with an exquisite assortment of gourmet delights from Arbora Hilltop Garden & Bistro’s festive menu. Embark on a delightful journey of holiday feasting, featuring savoury delights like Turkey Cordon Bleu, alongside a delectable Christmas Dessert Buffet offering an endless array of sweet sensations, including Eggnog Mousse Cakes and Chocolate Profiteroles. The season of indulgence awaits! The Christmas set menu with unlimited dessert buffet will be exclusively available from 22nd to 25th December 2023.

From December, families can revel in the excitement of free kid-friendly activities at Arbora Hilltop Garden & Bistro, such as a bouncy balloon dome and try their hands on an engaging activity sheet, which includes colouring, word search, and connect the dots, specially designed to enrich and spark the little ones’ creativity and cognition.

Icy treats to cool off the heat

There is nothing like an ice cream on a hot summer day, and guests can win themselves a free icy treat by participating in a social media giveaway. All they need to do is post a photo of themselves in the Pokémon cable car cabins on their personal Instagram or Facebook accounts with the hashtag #SGCableCar50 and tag @MountFaberLeisure. Their complimentary ice cream can be redeemed at the Singapore Cable Car Gift Shop @ Mount Faber Peak and Singapore Cable Car Gift Shop @ Imbiah Lookout, limited to one redemption per visitor and while stocks last.

Since its inception in 1974, the Singapore Cable Car has cemented its iconic status as one of the nation’s most recognisable attractions, having served more than 60 million visitors over the decades as the most scenic way to travel between Mount Faber Peak and Sentosa. Ahead of its Golden Jubilee in February 2024, MFLG will begin a year-long celebration to commemorate 50 years of delightful experiences on the Singapore Cable Car – Mount Faber Line while allowing visitors to create countless more unforgettable memories.
