Singapore MOE School Terms and Holidays for 2025
The school year 2025 for all MOE primary schools (including MOE Kindergartens) and secondary schools will start on Thursday, 2 January 2025 and end on Friday, 21 November 2025.

¹Primary 1 and Kindergarten 1 will start school on Thursday, 2 January 2025. Primary 2 to 6 and Kindergarten 2 will start school on Friday, 3 January 2025.
²The last day of the final school term for schools which will be used as venues for the GCE O-Level written examinations, will be Friday, 24 October 2025.
Primary and Secondary School Vacations 2025
The four vacation periods for Primary Schools, Secondary Schools for 2025 will be as follows:

There are 4 scheduled school holidays. The Monday after Youth Day (6 Jul 2025) and after National Day (11 Aug 2025) are to be designated day off-in-lieu (DOIL). Youth Day, Teachers’ Day (5 Sep 2025) and Children’s Day (3 Oct 2025) are the usual scheduled school holidays.
