Newest attraction at the Singapore Flyer offers family fun and a light-hearted take of the Singapore story for all
The Singapore Flyer (Flyer) is excited to announce the unveiling of a new attraction – Time Capsule – which will open at the Flyer in the fourth quarter of 2019. Time Capsule is a key part of the Flyer’s multi-year plans to re-imagine and rejuvenate its attraction offerings for both tourists and Singaporeans, and follows closely on the heels of the launch of FLYER 360+ in 2018 – a multimedia in-capsule experience.
Premised on the Singapore story, guests to the Time Capsule will be enthralled by a multisensory experience of the Singapore story from 700 years ago to the present, and to a glimpse of the future. Time Capsule will present highlights of the nation’s inspiring moments, as well as well-known Singapore legends using immersive media. Its interactive environment will feature projection mapping, holographic technology and interactive multi-touch screens.
Mr Ringo Leung, General Manager of the Singapore Flyer said, “The Singapore Flyer maintains its commitment to be an active player in Marina Bay’s continual development and to be an iconic Singapore attraction. The debut of Time Capsule is the first milestone of this commitment in the years to come.”
Mr Leung added, “Time Capsule guests can expect a vibrantly-illuminated walk-through of the Singapore story. Our team has thoughtfully curated the content flow to be refreshing for locals, yet retaining the essential historical facts to educate first-time visitors to Singapore. A lot of effort has gone into making the Time Capsule’s environment engaging, by allowing guests to enter a surrealistic time travel, and at the same time learn bite-sized snippets of the Singapore story at interactive touchpoints throughout their journey.”
As Time Capsule is an extension of the Singapore Flyer experience, all guests will be encouraged to visit Singapore Flyer and Time Capsule to fully enjoy their visit.
You can purchase the tickets online via Klook.
