From 18 July to 17 August, experience the Play Nation Kopi Shop, a playful, plush filled reimagination of the local breakfast icons

In celebration of Singapore turning 60, Marina Square presents the Play Nation Kopi Shop, a special tribute to Singapore’s iconic “kopitiam” culture from 18 July to 17 August 2025.

Located at the second floor of Marina Square (Marina Foyer), the experiential retail pop-up offers limited edition collectibles inspired by local breakfast favourites, designed by Singapore’s beloved game-play and entertainment brand, Play Nation. Set in a traditional kopitiam furnished with square tables and brightly coloured stools, visitors can place their orders at the serving counter, and see their orders prepared, from “pouring” of kopi to “making” of toast.

“In celebration of Singapore’s 60th birthday, Marina Square is pleased to partner Play Nation to present an engaging tribute to our local kopitiam heritage. The Kopi-Shop Pop-Up not only celebrates the nostalgia of our shared food culture, but also introduces a creative, contemporary format that will resonate with both the young and young at heart,” said Chan Yien Mei, General Manager of Marina Square.

Crafted from the cuddliest fabrics, the exclusive Kopi & Toast plush collection features eight culinary characters that foodies will know by heart, starting first with a soft take on local breakfast classics:
