Extending the celebration beyond the home, The LEGO Group brings the festivities to the heart of Chinatown with life-sized LEGO masterpieces. Taking center stage is Hugo the Horse, towering at the entrance of Chinatown Complex, as the first-ever LEGO zodiac centrepiece unveiled for Lunar New Year. Crafted from an astonishing 89,074 bricks and assembled over 445 hours, Hugo the Horse is a true feat of creativity and craftsmanship.
Joining the festivities is the LEGO Lion Dance Troupe, a stunning brick-built creation making its appearance during the Chinatown Street Light-Up on 30 January. This show-stopping moment is a highlight not to be missed as LEGO artistry brings a vibrant twist to one of Chinatown’s most iconic celebrations.

Your Festive Playground Awaits at Bugis
From 9 to 22 February 2026, The LEGO Group will bring the Lunar New Year celebrations to Bugis+ with a festive pop-up at the Level 2 Atrium.
Visitors can snap photos at a specially designed LEGO Lunar New Year backdrop, where festive tradition meets creative play. They can also enjoy a complimentary Make & Take activity to build and bring home a mini-LEGO horse. A richly detailed diorama by local LEGO fans will be on display, complete with a coin hunt for a chance to win LEGO sets. Shoppers can also look forward to exclusive in-mall promotions available throughout the pop-up period.
