49. The First Ever Sustainable Kids Market at Marina Square

Singapore’s first Sustainable Kids Market, jointly organized by Marina Square and Peace of Art, will take place at Marina Square atrium. Open to the public, this event aims to unite children in supporting their less fortunate peers through arts and sustainability initiatives. With nearly 100 participating brands, the market offers workshops, art exhibits, auctions, and live performances. Check out the KIDSforKIDS initiative, which features around 25 sustainable goods booths set up and managed by children with their parents’ help. All profits will benefit educational and mentorship programs for children in public rental flats.

50. NParks Festival of Biodiversity 2024

The Festival of Biodiversity is an annual event that aims to create awareness and foster a sense of appreciation for our natural heritage. Visitors will be presented with a range of activities for all ages at 2024’s Festival.

Initiated in 2012, the Festival of Biodiversity is organised by the National Parks Board in collaboration with the Biodiversity Roundtable. The Biodiversity Roundtable is an initiative that includes more than 20 non-governmental organisations involved in local biodiversity issues, and NParks.

56. Income Eco Run

Income Eco Run is one of Southeast Asia’s Eco Runs that aims to champion environmental conservation and encourage everyone to play their part in supporting the cause for Zero Waste. This year they will be donating $1 with every KM clocked and participants have the flexibility to run their distance-of-choice between 3km to a half marathon (21.1km).
