Activities at Changi Airport and Jewel Changi Airport

Visit the home of the Na’vi from Avatar at T3

If you’ve seen the spectacular world of Avatar on the big screen and have always dreamed of visiting Pandora, now’s your chance. See the home of the water-dwelling Na’vi clan, the Metkayina, at the T3 Departure Hall. Avatar: The Way of Water-inspired Marui Pod is a life-sized replica of the Na’vi abode, towering at over seven metres. Visitors can view life-sized replicas of the Na’vi natives and take Instagram-worthy photos with them. As darkness falls daily, the locale comes to life with dazzling light, sound and projection shows.

After visiting the Na’vi, take a piece of Pandora home with you from 18 November 2022 when you visit the Avatar: The Way of Water retail pop-up situated next to the Marui Pod. Navigate the luminescent tunnel entrance and emerge to shop from an array of Avatar toys, figurines, and glow-in-the-dark t-shirts.

Shoot to win and save the mangroves

Head over to T3 Departure Hall (near Check-In Row 11) for Mangrove Adventures. Unleash the archer in you and save the mangroves from unwanted trash by shooting them down to win giveaways. Then, flex your crafting skills to create and bring home your own illuminated Mangrove Jellyfish. Stand to redeem discounted entry when you spend at the public areas of Changi Airport’s terminals or Jewel.

Jewel’s Canopy Park glistens at night

As night falls, Canopy Park, located at the topmost level of Jewel, will glow into an ocean-themed sea of blue, pink, purple and teal with bioluminescent light displays. Step into a cave tunnel lined with dazzling ceiling lights and water effects projections for an immersive underwater-like experience. Be thrilled and interact with sea creatures such as the dolphin, seal and manta ray on screens using motion to trigger playful responses from them.

Feast your eyes upon mystical plants surrounding a pool of sparkling blue water, have a hand in weaving glow-in-the-dark corals, and snap Insta-photo moments throughout the park. At Petal Garden, watch as your footprints leave glowing blue bioluminescent waves on the interactive floor screen, and saunter past the four-metre-high smoke bubble tree to complete the experience. Watch in awe as the bubbles fall from the tree and pop with a smoking effect!

The ever-popular snowfall is making a comeback this year with hourly snowfalls around the park between 7pm to 10.30pm.

Wintry magic at Shiseido Forest Valley

Sponsored by Prudential Singapore (“Prudential”), the iconic 16-metre-tall Jewel Christmas Tree takes on an underwater theme this year. Visitors to Jewel can enter Shiseido Forest Valley via a tranquil oceanic tunnel, complete with underwater visual projections and audio to break away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Get tips on mental wellness while being immersed in the restful space as you relax and re-connect with yourself during the hectic holiday season. Select from a variety of emotions at the interactive mood tracker poll located at the end of the tunnel experience. Visitors can also check-in using Prudential’s digital health and wellness app, Pulse by Prudential, and win Pulse points to redeem rewards.

For visitors who miss the sight of snow, Jewel has once again introduced snowfall this year-end season. Witness the wonder of snowfall against the alluring light installations that dot the lush landscaping every evening at the Shiseido Forest Valley from 7.35pm to 10.35pm daily.

Catch the exclusive HSBC Rain Vortex Light & Sound show inspired by Avatar: The Way of Water. With a combination of sound and light choreography, marvel at the mystical water display of the 40-metre-tall indoor waterfall featuring the Avatar: The Way of Water creatures such as the Ilu and Tulkun. Visible from various spots around Jewel, do not miss out on this splendid masterpiece. Spending the night at Jewel on the Glampcation or the Changi Experience Studio Family Camp? You can enjoy these sights and sounds as well with your friends and family.
