This National Day, Marina Square invites shoppers to celebrate Singapore’s birthday with a heartwarming dose of nostalgia and local pride as beloved Sanrio characters and Singapore-inspired elements are brought together to curate memorable experiences at the Marina Foyer Atrium from 17 July to 16 August 2026.

Step into a joyful celebration of all things Singapore as beloved Sanrio characters blend with local culture in a larger-than-life interactive experience. Be greeted by Hello Kitty against a vibrant backdrop of iconic Singapore landmarks and a nostalgic pushcart ice cream cart, setting the scene for a truly local adventure.
Wander through charming HDB-inspired façades where familiar window scenes bring everyday local activities to life. Take a seat at the void deck, relive childhood memories at the iconic dragon playground, and spot a feast of beloved hawker delights that showcase Singapore’s rich food culture. Don’t forget to make a stop at the bus stop-themed photo corner, perfect for capturing postcard-worthy snapshots with your favourite Sanrio friends.
Designed as a tribute to Singapore’s heritage, community spirit and everyday icons, the installation offers plenty of photo opportunities and nostalgic moments for visitors of all ages to enjoy this National Day season.
As part of the celebration, shoppers who capture their favorite moments at the installations and share them on Instagram and tag @MarinaSquaresg and @SanrioSingapore can redeem an exclusive set of limited-edition Sanrio characters Hello Singapore themed stickers. Simply present the IG post at the Customer Service Counter and download Marina Square App to claim the collectible keepsake, while stocks last.
