Looking for a meaningful activity to do with your children this August?

On 29 August 2026, thousands of families will gather at Palawan Green, Sentosa for Walk with Caritas Family 2026 – a family-friendly 4km charity walk that combines outdoor fun, community spirit and an opportunity to make a difference together.

Unlike a typical walkathon, families can choose to support any one of 14 participating charities that serve children and youth, seniors, persons with disabilities, individuals facing mental health challenges, families in need and other vulnerable communities across Singapore. Every registration fee goes directly to the charity selected.

This year’s theme, “Wear Your Why. Walk As One.”, encourages participants to personalise their walk bibs with the cause or community they wish to support. It creates a simple yet powerful opportunity for parents to start conversations with their children about kindness, empathy and caring for others.

What makes the event especially meaningful for families is that everyone can support a cause close to their heart while participating in the same shared experience. Parents and children can walk side by side, learning that even small acts of generosity can have a lasting impact.

After the walk, families can enjoy a lively carnival featuring live performances, food, community and sustainability booths, activities for all ages and lucky draws.
