Writing Boot Camp
Improve your child’s creative writing by attending this writing boot camp. Your child will be taught to identify what it takes to produce a good piece of creative writing composition. ACA Kids Boot Camp
For N1 and N2
This is a theme-based programme that uses: stories; songs; discussions; drama activities; craft work; movement; music and improvised adventures to develop Confidence, Creativity and Collaboration. Each day, your child will take home a craft created in class that is related to and used in their themed adventure activities.
In this boot camp, your child will:
- Learn to build characterisation through acting techniques based on the individual themes.
- Improve emotional control through emotion-based explorations.
- Improve vocal projection and oral language skills by speaking in front of their friends and in group settings.
- Develop the confidence to express their ideas through open discussions, storytelling and improvisation.

For K1 and K2
This is a creativity and acting skills-based programme that uses: stories; discussions; drama activities; movement; music; improvised activities, scenes and adventures to develop Confidence, Creativity and Collaboration. Every day your kid gets the opportunity to use, explore and engage with various props and costume pieces from the Creativity Chest. These items are used as a stimulus to create monologues, dialogues and improvised scenes. The Creativity Chest allows your kids to push their creative limits and lets their ideas soar!
In this boot camp, your child will:
- Learn and expand characterisation through acting techniques based on the individual mini themes.
- Improve and build emotional control through emotion-based acting explorations.
- Improve vocal projection and oral language skills by learning proper vocal projection techniques, speaking in front of others and in a group setting.
- Develop the confidence to express their ideas through open discussions, storytelling and improvisation.
- Explore spoken language and their ideas by taking part in interactive storytelling and discussions.

MCA Chinese Cultural Camp – Cross-Cultures: Thanksgiving
Let us bring your child travel back in time to explore the beauty and wonders of the Chinese language and Culture through fun and interactive activities. This is a creativity, improvisation and acting skills-based workshop that uses stories, folk vocal art form – clapper talk; movement; hand craft and role playing to develop Confidence, Creativity and Collaboration within your child. While every child recounts their Halloween experience fondly, there’s another celebration, Thanksgiving, which educates children to be grateful and appreciative is an important value we should expose every child from a young age. During this camp, students will learn about Thanksgiving through fun and interactive activities. This immersive session focuses on creativity, improvisation and acting skills through the use of stories; drama activities; word puzzles; folk vocal art form – clapper talk and bamboo strips artwork (P2 students); movement; hand craft and role playing to develop Confidence, Creativity and Collaboration. As the highlight of the workshop, students will enact a short performance for parents to enjoy at the end of the camp. So parents, be part of this learning experience and let your child shine!
During this 2 day workshop, your child will learn:
- Fun with Di Zi Gui and understanding the story of Thanksgiving Day
- Reading of Thanksgiving Nursery Rhyme with traditional clapper talk
- Traditional Bamboo strips writing and painting (P2 Students Only)
- Hand Craft Thanksgiving decorations, clay making and role playing
- Learning how Thanksgiving Day is celebrated in different countries through interactive and fun games
- A performance titled “Cross-Culture Thanksgiving”

Any workshop with less than six (6) will be closed or participants may choose to reschedule the workshop/ trial class at the next available workshop/ trial class. Due to limited seats, all seat confirmation is based on a first-come, first-served basis with 100% payment of the workshop/ trial class. No refund will be allowed when there is a “no-show” on the day of the workshop. MindChamps Singapore reserve the rights to make any changes to the workshop, amend timing, availability, venues according to the programme requirements and its terms and condition without prior notice.
