1. Football

Bask in the sun for a whole lot of fun! Decathlon’s Swim Shorts KATY is made of 100% recycled polyester for good resistance to wear. In the water, protect your eyes with these comfortable yet durable swimming goggles made with 100% recycled polymer elastomer. The goggles are perfect for long-term use, especially with their adjustable straps flexible for your growing teen. Since July 2020, all of Decathlon’s in-store blue bags have been switched to be made of 100% recycled plastic bottles (or PET bottles). This effectively reduces 35% of their CO2 emissions as compared to our previous reusable blue bags.

Decathlon’s In-Store Sustainability Efforts

Decathlon’s eco-friendly products are just a small part of Decathlon’s larger sustainability efforts which includes:

• Using 100% renewable energy resources, Decathlon Singapore Lab is a 5,000sqm store with a roof entirely covered by solar panels.
• In an effort to reduce plastic usage, they have also started using mesh bags instead of the old plastic poly mailers to deliver all the 2h Click & Collect orders.
• Making sustainable changes to their logistical operations, Decathlon invested in a LED lighting system for their logistic centre that was both electricity- and cost-saving to reduce the ecological impact of our activity. We have also increased our cross-border truck size to optimise transportation and reduce the frequency of trips needed – saving a total of 2454.73kg of CO2.
• Waste bins are also provided in stores for customers to donate old shoes and electronics. In July 2021, 6,358 pairs of shoes were collected and repurposed into a running track, which contributed to 1589.5kg of CO2 savings.
