There are 11 public holidays in Singapore out of which there will be up to 7 long weekends (with holidays falling on a Friday, Sunday or Monday) in 2026.

Note: The public holiday dates have not been released on MOM’s website yet.

Four public holidays fall on a Friday (tentative):

• Hari Raya Puasa (20 March 2026*)
• Good Friday (3 April 2026)
• Labour Day (1 May 2026)
• Christmas (25 December 2026)

Three holidays fall on a Sunday (tentative):

• Vesak Day (31 May 2026*)
• National Day (9 August 2026)
• Deepavali (8 November 2026*)

Note: If a public holiday falls on a Sunday, the following Monday will be a designated public holiday.

The rest of the public holidays are:

• New Year’s Day (1 January 2026)
• Chinese New Year (17 & 18 February 2026)
• Hari Raya Haji (27 May 2026*)
