Yo, Ho, Ho! To The Port of Lost Wonder We Go
Sentosa’s latest attraction has finally anchored at Palawan Beach! Port of Lost Wonder (POLW) – Singapore’s first kids’ club by the beach, is a play zone for children to spend fun-filled moments with their family.
Children can splash about on a pirate ship, pop bubbles in a big foam pool, hideaway in a play den or run free in the garden. Families can enjoy a yummy spread on a picnic deck and even throw fancy birthday parties. Get ready for an adventure every time you visit!
Ship Ahoy! Set Sail On The “Pirate Ship”
The main water play area in POLW, children can splash, climb, and slide all day long! Watch out for the giant bucket as it tips over with droplets of water gushing down or standby the water jets for a wet and wild adventure. POLW Wonder Crew will be on hand to ensure safety at all times.
Uncovering secrets at “Curiosity Island”
Besides exercising their motor skills, there are also specially designed educational programmes at Curiosity Island, from hands-on gardening skills to learning about birds and nature! Here are some of the programmes available:
At “Tree of Wonder“, children can tap on their experience at POLW and let their creative juices flow! A series of nature-based activities, complete with materials, to create their own souvenirs.
Stick those green thumbs out! A hands-on gardening programme, children can lease their own plots and plant seeds of vegetables in ““Pots & Planks”. They can either pay a nominal maintenance fee or maintain the plants on their own.
An interactive bird encounter, “Teach Us Wild!” aims at educating children on animal conservation, responsible pet ownership, illegal smuggling and the consequences of keeping illegal animals as pets.
Who doesn’t love to play with bubbles? Come down and have a bubble bash at the Bubble Party, available on weekends, public and school holidays. Don’t want to get wet for the moment? Then try Playchute, a group-based outdoor team-work activity for the kids.
Snuggle up with your child at the “Play Den”
Want to take cool off from the heat outside? An air-conditioned space, the “Play Den” is a great escape from the bustle happening outside. With a variety of books and toys available, share some quiet bonding time with your little ones. There will also be facilitated activities such as indoor games, art-and-craft activities and workshops.
For The Tods Only – “Hatch Patch”
For your little ones who are bustling with endless energy, allow them to roll, crawl and tumble freely in this safe and clean artificial turf.
Fill Your Tummies at “Port Belly”
After all the running and climbing, restore all the lost energy with all-time favourite comfort food such as grilled sandwiches, pastas and pizzas. Fuss-free and relaxed, you can either choose to dine in or have a picnic outdoors at “The Deck”.
Port of Lost Wonder at Sentosa Palawan Beach not only has both indoor and outdoor fun, it is also the first kids’ club by the beach. You may not find any treasure chest of gold, but certainly find another kind of treasure – precious family time spent together with you and your little pirates!
