Highly coveted by local fans in Japan and visitors from abroad, the adorable Sanrio character-themed POMPOMPURIN Café has come to Singapore! It’s the first Southeast Asia outlet, café-goers can expect an authentic experience on all-things-POMPOMPURIN at the café, including a menu of cutesy-styled food and beverages, character-themed merchandise, and Japanese service – all enveloped in the adorableness and charm of POMPOMPURIN.

Bringing the Kawaii-culture from Japan to the shores of sunny Singapore

Every POMPOMPURIN Cafe in the world takes on a different theme that suits the local likes and culture. Conceptualized by Sanrio Japan, it is no surprise that POMPOMPURIN Café Singapore takes on a “Garden City” theme, inspired by the lush greenery that lines the streets and packs the parks of our little island.

Patrons walking into the famous café will be greeted by the signature POMPOMPURIN Gate followed by the picturesque POMPOMPURIN & Friends Tree. Within the café that has a total seating capacity of 78 pax, customers’ every turn will leave them gushing over the café’s interior settings from Purin wallpaper, cutleries to table mats.

Café patrons can also request to sit at one of the four 4-seater booth “Tomodachi House” (translated as Friends House), each featuring one of Purin’s friends – Bagel the Squirrel, Coconut the Monkey, Mint the Frog and Macaroon the Golden Retriever. With high ceilings, floor-to-ceiling windows, white-washed walls and an added touch of green plants, patrons will be whipping out their phones to capture keepsakes all around.

Diners can select from a variety of main dishes, set meals, beverages and delectable desserts. With almost one-third of the ingredients being imported from Japan, patrons of the café can treat their taste buds to authentic Japanese flavours and feast their eyes on the signature POMPOMPURIN plating.

Fans will be glad to know that they can take home a piece of the café, in the form of a POMPOMPURIN mug. With every order of a dish that is marked with the POMPOMPURIN mug logo, a brand new mug will be presented complimentary to the diner at the end of the meal.

POMPOMPURIN Café is located at 181 Orchard Road #04-08, Orchard Central, Singapore 238896. Open daily, from 11am to 10.30pm (last order at 10pm). Takeaway services are not available. No reservations, walk-in only.
