A Celebration that weaves Art and Community Featuring an Iconic Collaboration with Rising Singaporean Artist Roy Wang

Grounded in cultural traditions while offering a contemporary perspective, “Together in Prosperity” offers a Chinese New Year experience that moves beyond conventional festivities.

From striking large-scale installations to hands-on workshops, Millenia Walk transforms into a vibrant cultural playground where families and friends can pause, connect, and welcome the New Year with optimism. Millenia Walk invites visitors to slow down amidst the fast-paced rhythm of the city and truly reflect on how prosperity is shaped – not only through material abundance – but also through presence, generosity, and community.

Organised by Pontiac Land Group as part of the Millenia Walk Creative Neighbourhood initiative, “Together in Prosperity” continues the mall’s people-first approach to festive celebrations, championing local talent, encouraging collective participation, and creating spaces where creativity and community intersect. Through collaborations with homegrown artists, designers, and creatives, the mall offers a Chinese New Year experience that is distinctly local, thoughtfully curated, and rich in meaning.

“At Millenia Walk, we believe festive celebrations are most meaningful when they bring people together,” said Melanie Yeap, Head of Retail for Pontiac Land Group. “Together in Prosperity reflects our commitment to creating spaces where creativity, culture, and community thrive. We hope to welcome the new year with warmth, abundance, and a renewed sense of connection through immersive art and interactive experiences.”

“House of Lucky Paws” – An Iconic Chinese New Year Collaboration with Singaporean Artist Roy Wang from FACTORY

Millenia Walk Chinese New YearA red paw presides over cascading neon symbols, embodying luck, warmth and togetherness.

At the heart of “Together in Prosperity” stands the House of Lucky Paws Merry-Go-Round, a six-metre-tall immersive installation designed by Singaporean artist and creative director Roy Wang in collaboration with FACTORY, the studio behind Millenia Walk’s playful feline, Meowly.

Evolving from the earlier Dreams of Santa Paws installation, this piece reimagines the familiar gesture of the fortune cat. The “House of Lucky Paws” centres on a giant, animated cat paw that beckons continuously – a timeless symbol of welcome, renewal, and prosperity. The installation doubles as a merry-go-round, inviting visitors to sit beneath the paw’s rhythmic movement and soak up its playful energy, as though luck itself is reaching out to greet them.

Reimagined for the new season, the “House of Lucky Paws” embodies the idea that prosperity grows when we build upon what already connects us.

Surrounding the centrepiece are illuminated sculptural fragments of Meowly, whimsical and alive with light. Neon-lit illustrations depict life’s everyday joys: a goose dancing beneath the stars, rabbits leaping through open meadows, cats playing among oversized flowers, a fish gliding through cascading water, and a girl sipping on bubble tea. Together, these moments form a joyful tapestry of everyday happiness, reminding visitors that prosperity is found not only in abundance, but in presence and shared experiences.

“House of Lucky Paws” is both a celebration and a blessing,” shared Roy Wang. “It reflects the idea that fortune grows when we are open, connected, and present. Each light, movement, and illustration is an invitation to pause, receive joy, and step into the new year with optimism.”
