Relive the Good Old Days

Satisfy cravings at food pop-ups throughout August!

At Tiong Bahru Plaza, cravings are guaranteed to be satisfied! From 3 to 16 August, embark on a gastronomic adventure at the mall’s first Local-meets-Global Food Fair offering a paradise of local favourites and international delights from 11am to 10pm daily.

Over at Eastpoint Mall from 7 to 27 August, look out for the weekly outdoor pop-up food truck and savour delicious and nourishing Asian soups made only with premium and MSG-free ingredients from TO.GO Soup, AtTea’s range of premium teas and Bara’s specialty grilled Indonesian cuisine. Learn how to create traditional curry fish dishes at a live cooking demo by House Brand’s chef on 18 and 19 August at Level 5 event space.

The Centrepoint x tokidoki Art Beyond Boundaries

Get ready tokidoki fans! The world of tokidoki has arrived at The Centrepoint and Waterway Point!

Since its debut in 2005, tokidoki has amassed a cult-like following and is today a global brand known for its international collaborations with leading players in fashion and lifestyle. In partnership with The Centrepoint, Simone Legno, the talented artist behind tokidoki, has created special designs just for Singapore’s 58th birthday.

Don’t miss a visit to the exclusive collaboration “Art Beyond Boundaries” between The Centrepoint and tokidoki happening from 4 to 21 August. Featuring 8 pieces of SG-themed tokidoki designs that are uniquely Singapore, the designs capture Singaporeans’ love for travel, exploration and international connectivity.

Waterway Point Summer Party

From 4 August to 3 September, with a minimum spend of $30 at Waterway Point, children can bounce around the huge inflatable tokidoki Fun Village playground surrounded by themed slides and activities. They will also have the chance to meet Donutella or Cactus during the tokidoki mascot meet & greets on 5, 9, 12,19 and 26 August at 5pm, 6pm and 7pm.

Attention art lovers! Drop by The Centrepoint from 22 August to 3 September and be immersed in the creations of our local artists!

Visit the “Trash to Treasure” Miniature Exhibition and be amazed at how trash can be transformed into an inspiring work of art. Singapore cardboard artist Wilfred Cheah will be exhibiting his miniature 3D works of art of provision shops, hawker stalls, homes and the iconic dragon playground entirely hand-made with cardboard, wastepaper and recyclable materials. The artist is renowned for creating beautiful true-to-life detailed miniature dioramas of hawker stores, homes, chapels, and more, from odds and ends like plastic packages, bottle caps, strings, and cardboard boxes.

Come celebrate local art at ARTualize Gallery! Don’t miss this showcase of different Singapore scenes created by local artists Low Hai Hong, a well-respected artist known for his oil paintings, and Wong Hai, a proficient and versatile plein-air artist. Get hands-on at SG58 workshops

With a minimum spend of $30, save your seat at the National Day themed workshops at White Sands on 5 and 12 August, from 1pm to 3pm, and learn to make your own National Day toy bot.

Going meat-free has never been easier at the plant-based dumpling making workshop happening on 15 August at Eastpoint Mall. With a minimum spend of $80, secure a seat to learn various preparation and handcrafted processes to create dumplings at home.

Engage in more DIY crafts! Learn to make mosaic coasters at Tampines 1 and music boxes at Century Square, with a minimum spend of $60. The workshops are available on 12 and 26 August at Tampines 1 and on 13 and 27 August at Century Square.
