Bolon has announced the release of its Spring/Summer 23 collection (SS23), featuring futuristic-looking sunglasses and optical frames. The collection, named ‘Chasing Radiance’ challenges consumers to be bold with quiet confidence and shine as the centre of attention. The collection is defined by sharp lines and angular shapes, taking inspiration from modern architectural elements. For the SS23 collection, Bolon looked to one of the fashion capitals of the world, New York. The designs are inspired by the architecture and characters of the different New York neighbourhoods. Just like the diverse landscape of New York, Bolon offers a visual guide of bold and futuristic possibilities to inspire the sartorial needs of their customers.
The new sunglasses are each named after a New York neighbourhood. Tribeca is the cat-eye frame reimagined in an angular and sharp body of translucent or patterned acetate. Full of character, just like its namesake, Tribeca is an excellent choice to balance rounder features. Soho, as its name implies, exudes luxury with its unisex, ultra-thin cat-eye design in 4 different tinted lenses colour choices. Bowery is a classic square and round shape frame with 3D metallic detailing, a classic must have in every wardrobe.
All Bolon eyewear are selectively made with premium materials such as titanium and TR90 acetate to push the envelope on comfort, quality, and style in the eyewear industry. TR90 acetate is a flexible, lightweight, and extremely durable thermoplastic. Its durability allows the frame to contour to each individual’s face, ensuring maximum comfort. Some of the eyewear in Bolon’s collections made with titanium weigh as little as 9 grams, making them extremely comfortable to wear for long periods of time.
